agree it's one of the greatest shocks ever.

agree it's one of the greatest shocks ever.
They’re not a ‘Chanpionship team-in-waiting’ evidenced by their last showing in that division.
They’re a top end league one side who may be promoted to the Championship and even that isn’t guaranteed at the moment.
Given the gap between clubs and divisions in this modern game this is comfortably one of the biggest cup upsets. We’re talking about a side being touted as the best in Europe and who are favourites to win the Champions League.
If it was Barcelona Wigan had beaten last night you would probably be saying it is one of footballs greatest shocks.
So they've not changed their squad since then, at all?
People are waxing lyrical over City but they haven't won the CL yet, have they? If you're comparing to Barca then surely they'll need to be in and around the CL final for years to come, not just this season (and they've not reached it yet). They're also not the first team to run away with the EPL.
Only recently there's been two National League sides who have won at EPL teams (Luton and Lincoln). Our 4-2 away to Chelsea, when we were mid-table L1. All bigger shocks IMO given the perceived gulf and they've all happened in the last 5 years.
Wigan beating City is a shock, no doubt. One of the biggest ever? Not a chance IMO.
