Not for Mansfield he hasn't. He's one of the few who hadn't missed one yet until Saturday

Efficient win for us yesterday, played better with 10 men, resilient at the back although Sutton' s finishing was very poor. Take it though, wouldn't have fancied us in a replay.

Selfishly as I'll be in Australia at the cricket 3rd round weekend I'm partial to the idea of us getting knocked out in this round, so I probably wouldn't want the Boro this time (we'll get 'em now) and woukd take a new League 1 ground away, probably Blackburn, going out valiantly after a televised replay, with Coventry making it to round 3 so I can make that rearranged league game. Slim chance of that, I suspect.

Nothing wrong or untrue with what the Southend guy said so I don't see any issue.

'We have to show them why they are in League 2 we are League 1 so we are better than them'.

What's the problem with that, it's not slagging anyone off, and definitely not a 'pin up on dressing room wall' material is it? :dk:

It definitely backfired judging by not only the result but Phil Brown's reaction

Also this was Darren Way's take on it:
“I’m not on social media so I’m not that stupid but I think that if I was a player that would have encouraged me to put on a performance."

I'll take anyone at home in the 2nd, but ideally it would be a League One/Two team. Want to avoid a banana skin non-league opponent at all costs and make the third round. 13/16 League One teams, 16/17 League Two teams and 8/11 Non-League left in the 2nd round.

You really fear non-league teams that much? I reckon anyone in this division has a much better chance of beating a Slough or a Leatherhead than we do beating a Blackburn or a Shrewsbury.

If you have to go out at least losing to a worldy lessens the pain. If you haven't seen it look up Toney's winning goal for Wigan.

I want a shitty ground to visit, maybe Slough away. I don’t mind about a cup upset, I’m just happy to be in the 2nd round man.

Well, we've lost 4 out of our last 5 FA Cup games against non-league opponents(Telford in 03-04, York in 09-10, Tamworth in 10-11 and Eastleigh in 14-15). So we're rubbish against non-league teams generally. We also struggle like hell when the pressure is on, when we're expected to win or get a result. We perform way better in the games we expect very little from, like Saturday. Plus, the way we're struggling at the moment, I wouldn't bet against a non-league team snatching a 1-0 win against us, home or away. I don't think we could cope with that kind of humiliation, I think that would be a season killer for us.

So yes, I do fear non-league teams that much. I would much rather a winnable game against a League One/Two side at home.

Any lower division side at home will do me, not bothered about causing an upset just want to get to the third round.

It's not even on the outskirts, it's walkable from the station.

I watched a game at the old ground, can't recall exactly when it was but probably some 8-10 years ago, and the whole place felt depressing if I'm being honest. You ever been to this new ground of theirs Mowgli?

Blackburn away. Very tough, slim chance of progression, but they can have a stinker or 2 and we pushed them to extra time last season in the League Cup. Nice away trip and a ground I've never done as an away fan. Happy enough with that.

Well you got your wish. You must be thrilled with Blackburn away.

Newport away for us, don’t think we could have got a worse draw if we picked it ourselves, wank!

Exeter at home. Not ideal given how they battered us in September, but they aren't much of a cup side under Tisdale so you never know.

That just looks like a shite draw full stop. Lots of 'meh' ties.

You wanna swap, think we'd happily travel to Gateshead, Gillingham are yours if you want them.
I'd take that. If we all email the FA maybe they'll agree to change the ties around?

It's obviously not great but it's not a total disaster as we have a chance there. Exeter, Rochdale, Doncaster, Fleetwood off the top of my head would all have been worse draws.
