Our game at the weekend vs Cheltenham is a tenner for adults, fiver concessions
Also it’s been moved to a 2pm kickoff with no explanation from the club as usual, maybe Si Robin can let those know at your end as it’s still listed as 3pm everywhere.

It was clearly stated on our official club website three days ago that the time had been changed.
It was also in the club Twitter.
I would assume Cheltenham would have done the same.
Perhaps they should have sent everyone a personalised letter.
Still as long as our fans have something to moan about and something else to slag the club off for it keeps them happy.

Nope - our fans are asking the same question ourselves.

As The Last Waltz says though, it has been publicised on the club's social media channels.

We have Wednesday away, a fixture neither team can be happy with. Is being televised live at 12.15 on Sunday. Annoyingly I have a work zoom with people in the Far East starting at 12.30. I’m chairing, it may be a shorter meeting than they were expecting!

I suspect Lowe will play a fairly strong side, but I do expect him to start Randell in CM rather than Houghton and maybe Garrick will start too.

Just another example of how little they think of the fans by making this a 12.15 game. What time will they be setting off from Plymouth would you say?

Im expecting you to win this one, can see Moore resting a few including the only 2 senior defenders we’ve got fit. Hoping it’ll be a chance for the players who aren’t getting a look in to stake a claim if nothing else.

Er, it was meant for the Cheltenham fans who I imagine largely don’t follow our social media and may have bought a ticket before the change. But ok.

Apologies PUB, it wasn’t meant as a direct dig at you, though I can see how it came across that way.
I am just sick to the back teeth of all the negativity and in-fighting at our club at the moment.
I am not going through the whole ‘Scally out’ thing in here again as it has been done to death and most users on here would be bored shitless by it.
Enough to say that most of those people seem to want Scally gone even it means the club going into administration. He could liquidate the company just walk away with the assets. They are his assets after all.
He has said he is open to takeovers but no one is coming up with a viable offer.
Meanwhile we are solvent and in better shape than many.
Makes me laugh when I hear “support the team, not the regime”. Most of those muppets wouldn’t know how to support their team if their life depended on it.
Meanwhile they just look for any little thing to kick the club for.
Anyway, rant over and again, apologies.

I suspect most of our fans going will be living in Yorkshire and environments, but if you were leaving from Plymouth I assume the answer is some time on Saturday.

Burton at home, they won quite convincingly here just a few weeks ago but overall we have a good home record against them. Perhaps we can keep a clean sheet which will be a start, scoring goals has not been a problem. An overdue hard fought 1-0 win for the Cods to restore some smiles........

We haven’t won a home FA cup game for 12 years and 10 months! Oldham at PR. 11 changes, think we’ll still put out a decent side

Some miserable crowds on at L1 clubs, trend set to continue tomorrow I imagine.

I thought ours was a lot higher than expected. I was fully expecting in the 3000's but 5800 with 400 away fans is a cracking effort, even at £10 a ticket.

You know what game you're in for when, right from KO, the opposition drop back to the 18 yard box. From GK's, their furthest player was 10 yard in their own half most of the time.

We were a bit ponderous in possession, too many touches in the first half, but 1-0 makes it look closer than it was - the 'keeper made two or three good saves and we hit the woodwork. They had a couple of half chances but never any real danger of scoring.

They did their Club proud, though. Battled really well, very organised and no-one let the side down. No real weak link in the system they played.

With 7 of the first 11 unavailable, the fringe players didn't really give Appleton much to think about tbh. He'll be disappointed with that.

We've also donated our share of the money from today to Bowers and Pitsea.

An abject performance in the 2nd half and there was no sign of us ever getting a 2nd goal. Afraid I never saw Burton's winner, the heavens opened up and we were running for cover to the top of the stand. A pretty miserable afternoon, soaked through and dumped out of the Cup in the 1st round
Notwithstanding the above I do wish Burton all the best and hope they get a plum tie in the next round

The draw today means we'll be playing Gillingham three times this month, having also already played them in the League Cup in September. I'm sure both sets of fans are absolutely thrilled :dk:

The replay could honestly see a record low attendance unless the club do some sort of offer on the tickets - and I'm talking similar to the Pizza cup offer.

Give the FA Cup winners the 4th Champions League spot and up the interest from the big boys and that will filter down.

Good luck getting the PL life suckers agreeing on that, though!

The big boys generally seem to be the ones who win it or get the furthest but maybe that is due to their squad depth ?

It’s the mid table /lower Premier league clubs and even Championship clubs who don’t take it seriously as much.

I guess last that would have worked last season though with Leicester getting the CL spot for winning after they just missed out in the league.

But you’d also get the chance of a club already qualified for the CL winning the FA Cup and the beaten finalists therefore getting the 4th CL spot.

Opens up the riches for loads of clubs and not just the usual suspects.

Yes that is fair and going by this season there will be a couple of big teams not getting into the top 4.

Would create that extra incentive I agree.

The Romance of the FA Cup has gone. Foreign coaches and moving the final to 5.30 has all but rendered the competition pointless.
Yes you will always get a small team a la Stockport, Grimsby or Barrow drawing a big fish like say Liverpool or Bolton and the away support will be 9/10 times what they would usually bring.

Even today in Barra they talk of the day they took 3k to Bolton some 30 years back.

5K Stockport today at Bolton a lot of the above is tongue in cheek, but sadly its also partly true.

He’s clearly a complete and utter idiot.

10,000 people turning up to watch Havant & Waterlooville in the first round of the FA cup

This joker subbed a keeper on to play up front. Can’t believe more people didn’t pay to see that nonsense.

As predicted we were woeful and Swindon won at a canter.

Season is pretty much done for us in the first week in November, no way we're staying up, now out of the cup in the first round. Just pizza cup to play for which I couldn't give two hoots about.

So did I, think I read somewhere yesterday's crowd was 5849 which was only a couple thousand down on last Saturday.
We really struggled to break them down in the first half especially when they had their team defending their penalty area!
Opened up more once we finally scored and as Luke said but for their keeper should have had a few more.
10 players missing too, including our loanee keeper from WBA which could mean he's going back in January.

Our attendance was terrible. Maybe if, and it's a bloody big if on that showing, we get to the third round it might pick up but I have to say there was little interest among my MK supporting friends for that game.

If its any consolation you were far from the worst side I've seen this season. Pretty non-existant up front to be honest and I thought apart from a spell just before and after half time we dominated proceedings. Thoroughly enjoyable day and a lovely pint in the railwaymen club prior to the game.

The club got the prices wrong for our game. £15 a ticket with another £5 tacked on for anyone who normally comes by car. Sorry, but in the pissing rain against a Non League team that's not going to pull anyone in.

Feel sorry for those who did pay up, 0-0 and sounded like an absolute borefest. Worst of all, unless there's more than one then Bolton have probably stolen our likely televised replay after drawing with Stockport.

I do agree put the European places on the cups as it stands up to around seventh? in the Prem can qualify for Europe. The prem is a bit of a hangers on league!
