Finally get a PL side at home and it’s basically a Championship side.

I imagine QPR are about as thrilled as we are.

Norwich City Women's team would have put up more of a fight than Ipswich tonight....

Cannot disagree. Some of these players are stealing a living right now.

We need a Warnock type to knock some sense into them.

Ipswich looked like they were going through the motions for the most part, especially the first half. The kind of performance you probably get when there's uncertainty surrounding the Club.

and when he was needed in the 2nd half Farman proved what you Lincoln fans already know - he likes playing against Ipswich in the FA Cup....

I’m disappointed about it but I do get it. Realistically there’s not going to be anyone at any 3rd round games at this rate anyway so I guess there’ll be fewer big games and moments for fans to miss.

I was mildly optimistic tomorrow as Birmingham are not on a good run at the moment. However, apart from the rustiness of missing two games, it now seems like we will have a depleted squad as more players have tested for Covid this week. Reading between the lines I sense our bench will be full of the under 18s. I think some have been recalled from their loans.

I can’t work out whether we’ve got a reasonable chance tomorrow or not. We’re pretty much full strength (missing a couple) whereas Newcastle have had a ton of injuries and Covid running rampant through their squad. Plus they were crap through 2021 and have only added Trippier so far this window. They’re two leagues up but are they two leagues better? I guess we’ll find out tomorrow. 5,000 U’s in attendance, gutted I can’t make it.

Good luck to Cambridge today. Hope you smash the mags. Doubt it but ya never know. Some good pubs if any of you are going. Also good luck to any other league one clubs in the cup today.

Three things certain in life. Death, taxes and sending Blackburn packing at the DW! Another late Thelo Aasgaard screamer did the trick.

Well done Cambridge, what an evening in store for the fans who went.

Borehamwood deserved the win today We dominated possession but never really looked like scoring .They scored early and were quite happy to sit back and defend against us They did it well to be honest

Just got back. Jeez, that was a bit nervy. We should, have scored way before Extra Time. We went bonkers when Law scored a cracker.

Very disappointed with Birmingham, I know they had a few missing but we had quite a few out through Covid. Consistently we were the better side, and they were pretty poor.

During Extra Time the PA announcer pointed out that the last train to Plymouth had just left New Street. So I think quite a few of our fans were looking for a hotel for the night after the game.

I was looking forward to seeing Rebecca Welsh as she has had good reviews. I felt she controlled the game well and appeared to get most of the decisions right. There was a short period where I was not sure about the consistency of decisions, but overall good. She did run quite a narrow diagonal which meant she did get very close to the action/in the way a few times. But I think that will come with experience.

Of the last ten draws for the FA cup we have been away 9 times, so home please tomorrow.

That’s a hell of a win for us, what a performance. Obviously we had to rely on Mitov pulling off a string of excellent saves but the defensive resolve was incredible, the players made it so hard for Newcastle to get clean shots off. Heart was in my mouth during the VAR review but fortunately it stood. Love Joe Ironside, what a man.

Just an epic day. I’m gutted not to have been able to go but I’d rather to have not been there and we won than the opposite!

In terms of the fourth round draw there’s four options which appeal really:

- Borehamwood, Kiddy or Hartlepool at home as we’d have a decent chance of making the next round.
- Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal away as they’d be massive money spinners and it’s a doddle to get to. Liverpool away too as we’ve never played them before (we’ve played the other three) and the financials too.
- Someone like Norwich or Everton away, EPL clubs who have been pony for basically.
- Peterborough home or away. No justification needed.

If we draw someone like Plymouth away it’d be gutting!
