At least our fringe players will get knocked out against a decent side.

If we can get past Kings Lynn then away at Hornchurch. Are the two Hornchurch fans still on here?
Winnable tie.

Haha, one of us is here and I'm sure Lurchin will join in.

Happy with that draw. Having disposed of 2 National South teams (Tonbridge and Dulwich) in the last 2 rounds we'll fancy our chances.

The Isthmian League were all belt and braces, and double knickers when we could play so I don't hold out much hope of playing in the League before Feb so the FAT is our only source of competitive football at the moment which presents a challenge keeping players 'match-fit'.

Still not sure how tier 4 'elite' and 'non-elite' works within the FAT but assuming it goes ahead (and clearly BCD) I'm currently googling 'equipment needed to live stream football matches'.

Literally thought the exact same from our end.

Something will have to give.

11.30 am pitch inspection tomorrow. Should the Impact Arena fail the inspection which is very possible the match will be played at Basford United tomorrow night.

Yet another away tie for us, this time at Halifax. Since 1990 we've been drawn out for 53 away ties compared to 20 home ties (not including a 2 legged semi final and a final), and 9 of our last 12 ties being drawn away. Wouldn't surprise me if the draw is rigged and has been for years.

And yes, I was that bored I counted 30 years of FA Trophy fixtures for us!

No sympathy from me,.. Alty drawn away to Havant & Waterlooville on their plastic pitch too
That will be our 12th consecutive cup game played away from home.

Cant wait, we love nice pitches :woo:

We lost to who else Alty in a very close game which could have gone either way.
I agree it was close but to win the game you needed to create chances,.. apart from the superb goal by Dudley I dont think our keeper had a single save to make. I thought Chester looked quite good in midfield, just little or no end product. Having said that, you did score against us, and we had not conceded in over 400 mins and only conceded 2 in our last 6 away games,.. so Un-Alty :dk:

JJ looks a pale shadow of the player we sold you apart from a good run in the first couple of minutes,.. he used to do that frequently,.. not sure your management know how to get the best out of him.

That’s how he has been from day one we have been expecting so much more after the way you lads talked him up and it just hasn’t happened yet.

A few years ago we had a run of 14 away FA Cup ties out of 15. It was ridiculous.

Maldon postponed our game at the weekend due to a positive case but now reckon the FA have approved for them to replay it tonight. Doesn't make sense, and we've appealed but looks like its going ahead anyway. We offered to stream the game for them at the weekend, they declined. They are now tier 4 so we can't go anyway, we offered to switch it to Meadow Park as heavy rain expected there, we have a 3g pitch. They've declined that too. The youth team are going down. Seems like they are playing silly buggers frankly.

Truro have had to forfeit after a positive test within the squad, although the tie had supposedly been put back 24 hours as Oxford were waiting for the result of a test within their squad.

Would be somewhat ironic if Truro had picked up the case in the process of winning a tie that had already been postponed from the 5th.

This isn't right, the Trophy is categorised as elite
Sorry to clarify meant as in a team to stream the game, not a team to play. The playing side concern is with the lack of isolation time
