We've just signed your former youngster George Green.

I believe he was highly rated not so long back, but as you've released him he can't be *that* highly rated.

Care to share your thoughts on him?
Is he just a slimmer, drug-free Jose Baxter - 'cos I'd take that?

Pretty surprised we released him to be honest. As you said was highly though of and would have thought he would have gotten a couple of extra years to sort it out. Being honest I haven't seen a lot of him but Baxter is probably a decent comparison. Good technically and on the ball, lacks in workrate and movement. He was criticised for being more interested in partying than football but that's just rumours.

According to a Tranmere fan in work he was really talented but also really selfish with the ball. I'd probably put that down to being a kid, and I'm surprised we let him go. There were rumours of a drinking problem, not sure how true that is though
