Richard, I can indeed confirm that I think all those things.
I've seen FatBoy and the Ginger Puppet Muppet in action far too many times from far too short a distance, so my eyes and ears have had to endure their regular disgraceful 'antics'.
The fact he's obese is his choice, that doesn't concern me at all (it should him, his wife, children, loved ones and his Doctor) its his behaviour on the side lines that offends me most, then his false media persona, and finally what he did at Boston United FC which HMRC and the Football League were none to impressed with lol. Once a cheat, always a cheat.
He's been successful, but so have many at lower league level. That won't be the footballing worlds abiding memory of him. But as someone pointed out, of course he won't care. If I was a wealthy, heavily overweight, laughable bleach blonde haired football manager I wouldn't care. I'd be more concerned with the threat of worrying chest pains.

A guardian journalist summed him up perfectly in one paragraph last season having attended the Notts County vs Mansfield Town game at Meadow Lane. I'll try and dig it out this independent view of the obese cretin.

Thank the lord he never came to manager the Worlds Oldest Professional League Club

I don't want that vile piece of shit anywhere near my football club. I'm appalled we've even made an approach.

Here it is, a perfect summation of Mr Evans by football writer/journalist Jeremy Alexander:

"The minute’s applause for Graham Taylor was a reminder of absolute decency in and out of the dugout and Nolan, acknowledging later “a brilliant reception with hairs rising on the back of his neck”, apologised for being “a bit emotional” without mentioning his grandfather, too, had just died.

The Stags’ Steve Evans, charmless as ever, could not have struck a starker contrast until the fourth official called the referee to intervene. It was a disgrace to Taylor’s name. But after Collin’s last-minute reflex save to divert a deflection the majority left smiling. The mood at last was too good to be Trew"

Charmless & disgrace, yup that about sums up FatBoy

Well don't read and/or post on the thread Paul?!?!? If that's your personal view:doh:
Surely that doesn't need explaining especially for someone who joined in April 2015 :eye:

I wish I had enough time on my hands to continually comment about another teams manager, if only I had the time and knowledge about another teams manager. Unfortunately, work and a busy social life dictate otherwise. If I were Evans i'd be asking for a restraining order

It’s pretty much just you posting about him though, we get it, you don’t like him because he’s fat and vile and the worst person in the lower leagues (Nile Ranger???). I never said the thread was boring either, you just keep going round in circles.

But some people have a different interpretation of obsession -

You're right Paul, bar the few Notts fans , the plethora of Staggies, an Exeter fan, a guy from scunny, a Gillingham supporter and the original poster, it's pretty much just me :2thumb:

I'll happily admit I am more obsessed with Steve Fatty Fat Fat Evans aka Dr Vile more than anyone in football. He's the worst person in football (A Mansfield fans words not mine) so obsession or dedication of dislike his hardly unexpected.

It's similar to the obessesion most football fans have about rival teams , ya know see exhibit A: Cods/Imps , only difference mine is aimed at one (that's being kind, 1.5) man

I'm afraid it will only stop when he retires suddenly from football , no doubt on Health grounds

I think mental health is a serious issue.

Lol coming from the guy who's posted 2333 messages, and what a well known guy on this football message board. Not sure you how you fit it all in with that busy social life .

Oh and Adam don't need to comment on another teams manager , you can carry on with your Chesterfield obsession (seems to be the misplaced buzzword on here at the moment)

Conks, completely agree, misunderstood, nelegates and massively underfunded by successive governments . Hopefully after the politica news of the last few days , we are turning the corner on this issue. I'm a big supporter of MIND and similar mental health focused charities.

Oh and Baratheon, you peaked earlier today with your lunchtime classic. This one? Not so good .

C- Must try harder

I put the profile pic on on Saturday as a joke as we were playing Lincoln and I just haven't got around to changing it back. :fing:

There should be a poll on this thread:
a) Evans is a knobhead
b) Evans is a thoroughly nice chap
c) no-one cares

He's not the most successful manager in the league from my standpoint.

It depends on how you evaluate success.

Pound for pound he's pure garbage.
