One thing last night made clear is that Manchester United desperately need to buy or incorporate bigger and stronger players into the line-up next season. West Ham are perhaps the largest side in the league, but even so, United have been bullied time and time again this year by bigger teams. They only have Smalling of the starting 11 who is capable of defending one of the opposition's threats at set pieces.

A couple of weeks ago at Leicester, they had Rojo on Wes Morgan - it was an embarrassing mismatch and this was with Fellaini on the pitch. This isn't even mentioning how easily the likes of Mata and Herrera (completely anonymous last night) can be edged out of a game by physical opponents and Daley Blind (whilst have superb reading of the game) playing centre back cannot deal with physical forwards, which is kind of important in the Premier League.

In their biggest game of the season they managed to muster up 3 attempts on goal to West Ham's 20. Carroll and Sahko missed two absolute sitters and despite this United found themselves in the lead with 15 minutes to go. Of course they couldn't hold on to 4th place again, it was another false dawn, which is what the Van Gaal reign has been. I am going to be fucking ecstatic in a couple of week's time when that c*** is gone and never to return to English football. West Ham should feel embarrassed by their performance against Swansea because they could be gunning for 4th right now and they would be a lot more worthy.

Awful 1st half of United but Martial made the difference at the second half putting them in the lead at the second half but nothing stopped West Ham, very nice turn out.
