Tamworth (H) WIN
Ilkeston Town (Derbyshire Senior Cup (H) WIN

Tough month for us. Imperative we beat Tamworth. Be ideal if we could nab something from the other games.

13/15.

Would leave us on 64/36 and probably 2nd behind Aldershot. Big month for anyone who has their eyes on the title.

Don't want to overly positive.. we should surely be hoping for minimum two wins from Solihull, Guiseley and Halifax. Moors looks the toughest picking up form
Anything from Sutton and Aldershot are bonuses and would keep us right in the play-off mix, but we'd probably need more if hoping for better...

Eastleigh H - Draw

Bignot's excuses get worse with each abject display. By end of month we offer to trade him to Halifax in exchange for Neil Young.

Massive month for us, if we are still within touching distance of top spot come the first of March then I'll start to believe but got a feeling we'll come unstuck at Wrexham.

No game for us this weekend, so hopefully this forced break will see if come out of the bad form we ended up in after our last break a few weeks ago. Following that we go:
10th - Guiseley (H)
17th - Aldershot (A)
20th- Tranmere (A)
24th - Maidenhead (H)

Really have to take 6 points from our home games and probably at least win one of Aldershot or Tranmere away. I see those two both playing Bromley on the others dates when we play those two games so hopefully they can continue their form and take some points from them.

It’s been a while since we beat anyone 9-0, maybe that’ll come this month too?

Interesting to see both Tranmere predictions going with a draw when they come to the Orient.

Dover (a - Trophy): DRAW.
Dover (h - Trophy replay): WIN 5-4(pens) after extra time: DRAW
Tranmere (h) - LOSE
Fylde (a) - LOSE
Chester (s) - WIN
Torquay (h) - WIN

Interesting to see both Tranmere predictions going with a draw when they come to the Orient.

Mostly due to not thinking we will get 5/5 wins and our poor away form against the divisions weaker sides (sorry!)

Extremely tough coming up for us, where we are playing 4 of the top 10. Dagenham have to stop losing at some point, Macclesfield will sit deep and stop us playing (which a lot of teams do at the Rec), Bromley are an attacking team so that will suit us and we almost always lose at Wrexham (apart from last year when their season was over before they played us).

If we want to be fighting for the title we need at least 8-10 points, which I think is unlikely.

Nah we won't mate, we'll come and try to boss possession like we do every single game we play. We'll be completely toothless up front, but won't be sitting back.

Have you changed since we played you in September? That day we had about 70% of the play but you sat back and killed us on the break (although the fact you scored after 30 seconds might have played a part in that)

It most likely did play a part, and maybe other teams let us have the ball a lot as well knowing we're not great at breaking down a stubborn back 8. I'd be disappointed if we tried to sit back against you, we're not good enough.

Very tricky month it wouldn't come as a shock if we lost all four? Probably our best shot of a win could be against out of form Blyth Spartans, with just 1 win in 8 matches. They got beat 8-2 on Wednesday night against Morpeth Town.

Wait, you actually think we'll beat Bromley? That never happens. I think we'll beat Barrow for some reason, don't see much change out of the rest.

AFC Rushden & Diamonds
Tough month ahead for Diamonds. I've gone in to depth for the games for anyone interested - it could just read like a random list of place names to some on here!

Sat 3rd - AFC Dunstable - Home - Loss
I'm feeling pessimistic. We're on a 15 (league) game unbeaten run. Local rag ran a story about how our form is based on our defense, just before a home game against the team in 3rd. Huge match for both sides as top 2 certainly get automatic promotion (best 3rd placed team across all step 4 leagues will also). Right now we're top by 3 points, and AFC Dunstable are 5 behind us. A humbling loss feels a little inevitable right now, but I hope I'm wrong. A big scoreline against us seems very possible right now!

Tues 6th - Kettering Town - Away (Hillier Senior Cup) - Loss
Pointless local cup will eat up one of the games of Luke Fairlamb's suspension. That lot will feel like they have revenge after the league cup game where we beat them earlier in the season. It was no secret they put in an offer to sign one of our top performers from that game, though thankfully for us he stayed. Hope none of our best players put in a stand out performance for them to try to tempt away, not even sure who will play to be honest.

Sat 10th Arlesey - Away - Win
Got to be winning against the bottom side who only have 8 points! Surely... Banana skin potential of course, and they did get 1 of those 8 points at our place at the start of the season! Interestingly their 8 points have come from just 4 teams, 4 from their games against Fleet, and 2 from draws with Barton Rovers. The other one was a draw with Chalfont St Peter, who just beat them last Saturday breaking the pattern of being unbeaten against any sides they took points off.

Sat 17th Chalfont St Peter - Home - Draw
In a reverse of their normal seasons Chalfont have started the season poorly and then come in to form. Recently they beat Dunstable (3rd), Beaconsfield (2nd) and Hayes and Yeading (5th) who have all been in fantastic form. They're on a playoff push and will be dangerous.

Tues 20th - Uxbridge - Home - Win
Uxbridge have been a bogey side for a lot of the top teams this season while not really troubling the playoffs themselves. Hopefully being a fair way to go in this league on a Tuesday it will give us an extra advantage, but they are definitely a team to be wary of.

Sat 24th - Egham - Away - Draw
Egham is a tough place to go most years, and despite not being competitive at the top end this season I don't see this being too different. I'm predicted staunch defending from us and no breakthrough, meaning a 0-0 affair.

Correctly predicted 5 points but got the games wrong. Should just about make the playoffs but our slim hopes of winning the league are over.
