A six pointer, a blow if either loose, Carlisle need it more, it would be a big gap to close if they lost.

Having only seen the highlights of Tuesdays win at Colchester it’s difficult to be completely confident. They did have the greater number of chances, all be it those were not at all convincing, but over all we took ours, and is some style. We can improve again tomorrow from that confidence booster, we really needed it.

We’ve spurned so many opportunities at home to push on, if we can win it might set us up for a cup football finale, the experience would be useful to beat another contender. If we loose, more head scratching.

Carlisle were on fire up-until January, (until Shridan left) but their must be a good side in there waiting to get out! Basically are Carlisle still up for it? If you had asked me the same question of us before this Tuesday I’d have said no chance. This must be the time of year when you really need your bottle. Keep plugging away is all you can do until your luck turns.

My season ticket renewal treble bet for today is:
1 . Quel Destin (13:30 Cheltenham)
Each Way
2 . Presenting Percy (15:30 Cheltenham)
Each Way
3 . Hazel Hill (16:10 Cheltenham)
Each Way

I still think the outcome of our season will go to the last day when we are at home to Exeter, quite possibly winner heads for the play-offs and loser starts their summer holiday. Have to say that when the fixtures were released I looked at the home game against Exeter, who I expected to be promoted automatically, and just hoped we didn't need anything from it...expecting our team to be far nearer the other end of the table...football, funny old game isn't it.

As for the game tomorrow, we haven't had a home draw for a while...I'm going 1-1.

We’ve got no chance. Well not exactly no chance but as good as.

You say there must be a good side waiting to get out, but the team we had in December/January is gone. Key players have been ripped out of the team and replaced by not poor players, but the wrong type of players.

3-1 home win. Comfortable, a scoreline that flatters Carlisle.

I wouldn’t mind us dropping out a fewtimes as long as we are in them at the end when it matters.

Not good enough unfortunately. Unless Pressley admits that his ideas aren’t working and somehow finds a solution to suit these players then we’ll end up no where near top 7

Carlisle sound like they're having much the better of it so far, more clear chances and one off the bar.
ETA my reverse psych worked, Reece has just scored out of nowhere :D

We have the wind with us in the second half. We've been poor coming forward and keep giving possession away. A long way to go yet.

Carlisle looking good, very similar in style to Lincoln.

Having failed to score from a hat-full of chances first half, Carlisle make about their first of the second half count. More than fair on balance of play.

See what Carlisle fans mean about lacking a striker, must have had four times as many shots and scored only from a massive defensive cock-up. Got away with that really and pleased to have hung on in play-off spots.

A good result in isolation, but having been so shit over the last 8 games we needed a win. We have 8 games remaining and we’ve probably been bottom 4 form over our last 8 games.

Can I see improvements happening with our fixtures and Pressley in charge? Fuck no!

Don't worry, the likes of Notts and Macc haven't gained too much ground on us, so I reckon there's still a bit to go before we have to start looking over our shoulders.

We regress with each successive home game. Not to take anything away from Carlisle, you deserved three points, you should be feeling dissapointed!

Watching home football is a sad experience these days. Can we not try something different, please!!

Standard. That’s what being a Carlisle supporter is all about. Constant disappointment.

Carlisle are a good side, we struggle at home so point gained I reckon.

Big thanks to Reading for loaning us Lewis Ward, what a keeper he is, brilliant performance kept us in it.
