Infact I'm going to argue that "Sprint On To That Through Ball Simulator 17" is one of the worst football games I've ever played.

Ha. Just found out that there's also an exploit from corners, which is to do with back post crosses being impossible to defend.

1v1s are stupid, just played a bloke who instead of shooting did a blind 180 pass behind as my keeper dived... He then continued to keep ball for the rest of the game, which given how broken passing is wasn't really hard...

Counters from corners are stupidly easy as the ball always falls to a team mate when you clear.

Auto tackle is worse than ever, genuinely easier to let the ai just defend...

A goal I scored earlier, blind back heel from the touch line between two defenders, bloke just inside the area does a blind 180 swivel pass, perfectly accurate across the six yard box for an easy finish.

Injuries are also ridiculous.

The graphics look good though and there's licenses, so, at least that ignores the fundamentally broken gameplay.

PES has its problems but it's so far ahead in terms of gameplay now. Carbon copy of FIFA v PES back in the day, except I can't see PES ever getting more popular.

Anyone know how to get the penalty indicator working? Tried turning the target on when I get a penalty but I see no arrow. But I've seen people on youtube be able to use the arrow so there must be a setting I'm missing. Need all the help I can get as I've missed my past 6 pens 2 saved, 2 onto the woodwork and 2 missed the target.

I have noticed the gulf in difference of the game play between career & FUT.

I won 18-0 on FUT against cpu, against career cpu I am struggling

Like the new update. Seems to have fixed how ridiculously poor corners were. Every single corner used to result in a chance and was basically impossible to win a defensive header.

Keepers also seem less shit than they were before.

The thing that kills me is the inexplicable delay in defenders clearing the ball after you tap clear. Always seem to want to turn into David Luiz and dribble it out before hoofing

Finished the journey so have done a bit more career. CPU is ridiculously clinically whilst my team falls to pieces in the area. Trying to skill people is much harder this year imo and defenders just seem to anticipate when you're going to knock it past them.

I've taken PNE to the Champions League in Career, on Legendary. A bit too easy this year I thought so I've messed about with the sliders a bit and seems much more of a challenge now.

I don't play FUT and very rarely play online so over the years I've honed my offline skills pretty terrible online though unfortunately

I can't defend on this FIFA at all. Corners are also so frustrating - any corner that goes to their keeper just ends up as a chance for them.

Basically the contain function is the only way to defend for me. Find myself using that all the time as sliding and tackling are very unreliable unless timed perfectly

SBC Son is a god. Waited until late into it and everything was less price fixed so it cost me about 40k overall.

If Allen wins POTM he'll get a SBC card which one of the requirements will be to have stoke players so they'll go up to a decent price.


Made it to a million coins now thanks to packing Aguero who I got as a reward for the Sporting CP SBC.
