Cardona was brilliant at the last Copa Sudamericana.
I've been getting back into FIFA after getting frustrated with Football Manager 2015, and while I still love the Football Manager series, I needed some time to relax.
I've had teams on FIFA 13 and FIFA 14. It was quite fun, and I just got back into Ultimate Team the other day. EA has really made plenty of difference's. Firstly, there aren't trade offers anymore. They got rid of that months ago though. Secondly they added price ranges for each players. I'll go on and explain the 3 reasons EA added these in a second. Price ranges basically are adding prices to each player. For example, if you had Alfie Potter who is a bronze player playing for Oxford (now AFC Wimbledon) you could set him for 1M coins. Now you can only sell him for a certain price which reflects his value. EA have added these for 3 reasons. They've added them to make people realize that their players are valuable, to make it easier to get higher rated players, and to stop coin sellers.
Firstly, EA had set this as their main reason in game, which is to make people realize that their players are valuable. Its not a very good argument because one important aspect of Ultimate Team was to buy players and sell them for good money when their price in the market goes up. I remember at the beginning of the 2013-14 Season, Aubemeyang was so difficult to get. Later on in the season, his price went down. It has lots to do with the players being in form (Not the Ultimate Team cards). It has to do when the player is in demand. Secondly, these prices make no sense. I'm one who is not afraid to use silvers in my team. I'm not all about having the best players. Why does James and Di Maria's price differ completely? They have around the same ratings but completely different prices. James is around 150 to 8K, while Di Maria's price minimum is around 50K? I don't understand what the point in that is supposed to be. Lastly, all this does is kill the transfer market. Most people including myself listed the best players for 150 on the market. People did this because usually you get high bids no matter what, and I never knew what was the best price to sell players. The least amount of time you can list players is 1 hour, and not everyone is going to have the patience to wait to get coins only to get no coins at all. This is still possible with some players that can be sold for a high price, like James Rodriguez, but if you have a player like Ronaldo or Messi who are valued at least over 2M, you can get them in a pack, and if you want to buy other players with the money you can get for selling them, you'll have to put them up for at least 2M and barely anyone will have that money now unless people spent a ton of money on FIFA points.
EA wanted to make it easier to get higher rated players. As I just mentioned above, how is it exactly easier to get higher rated players? Maybe players between 81-88 but after that players like Ronaldo and Messi are almost impossible to get unless you spent a ton of money on FIFA Points. Not likely you'll have 1M coins. People had that much money before because they bought coins (which we will talk about later). Again, if its easier to get higher rated players, why are James and Di Maria's prices completely different for both players being 86 rated? I was able to get James like this, I'm not sure how he would have been valued should these price ranges have not been added, and while its possible to get Di Maria, the point is EA has made 1 player 5 times harder to get than the other who are both rated the same. Also, if it makes higher rated players easier to get, than why are silvers difficult to get? I'm aware silvers have always been expensive, but if they want to make it easier to get higher rated players, surely they shouldn't be so expensive for being silver.
Lastly, EA wanted to end coin sellers once and for all. They've done a great job in ending coin sellers. EA seemed afraid to admit this though because of the first reason until the article published today where they defended the price ranges. EA tried to stop this months ago by stopping trade offers. They then stopped the transfer market in the web and mobile apps. They then had enough and added price ranges to stop them once and for all. I never bought coins, so I'm not affected by this in the slightest, but EA seem to have broken Ultimate Team because of the first 2 reasons.
Yesterday, EA have published a post on their website defending the price ranges. They said that it has made the game more fair for everyone. Firstly, I don't understand the argument about making the game more fair for everyone? Like I said I use silvers and absolutely destroy full gold teams. I haven't played much against full TOTY teams yet so I guess its hard to comment on the matter, but if you know how to play the game, you can win against anyone. It barely has to do with the players you have. It mostly has to do with being good at the game, and also having pace. I only use silvers that are strong in a certain stat. For example, I have a Colombian team, and I have a silver RM who has 91 pace. Of course that won't top a TOTY Ronaldo who destroys the opposition defence, but what are the chances you'll ever get him? Yes people who buy coins could, and we'll discuss that now. EA have said their plan after turning off the transfer market in the web app is to "locate and ban coin sellers", so what's the point in adding price ranges when all it will do is people will criticize the price ranges and stop playing the game? Also, why couldn't they just locate and ban the coin sellers instead of completely ruining the game for many. I'm not too affected by these changes because like I said, I don't buy coins and don't care about having the best players, but there are people who play the game differently than me. Like those who do wagers, the game has changed completely for them. It is extremely tedious to locate and ban every single coin seller, but if its for the sake of people playing the game fairly, I would rather do that then ruin the game for everyone else. EA is a huge company from what I'm aware. Lastly, FIFA have said they will increase the price given at tournaments. It's good because it may be a fix to the main problem with price ranges (for me anyways) but we don't know what these prices are yet, and if its a slight improvement, it won't be good enough. This needs to be a massive change.
Those are my opinions and like I said, I don't do wagers, or buy coins or anything like that. I play the game normally, I play divisions and try to create interesting teams rather than being all about having the best players, so I'm not too affected by these changes. The issues are of course, having inaccurate prices, and players rated over 90 will be almost impossible to get. I personally think this won't continue much longer as the hatred towards this is simply too much, and it will decrease the amount of people playing ultimate team.

What's the point of the limit? Given though a normal game lasts about 20 minutes anyway, it's pointless whatever the purpose.75game per day limit.
