I've gotten stuck in Div 2 so might be time for another change of formation. Just don't know what. Started witht eh classic 4-1-2-1 Wide. Then 4-2-3-1 now on the 4-2-2-2. Any suggestions as I have a BPL squad.

For me 41212 is by far and away the best formation on the game.

Now on 1,800,000 for Toty. Scrapping my earlier proposed teams, feel a 4-2-3-1 doesn't create enough chances in D1. Shall rock out a 4-3-3 with:

Might replace Modric with James Rodriguez or Kroos, undecided on that one. Pros and cons to all three.

I hated 4-1-2-1-2 when I used it. Was too congested in the middle with no wide outlets, hard to break down teams.

Without bothering to do any research whatsoever, Juventus. Torino did in parts last season. There's certainly more in Serie A. Italian national team on and off. Bristol City won League One playing it. Bristol Rovers on and off. Plymouth did last week. Carlisle have this season.

Been playing XBOX One for the last month now, so I bought a few packs for TOTY on my 360 account.
2 x 100k packs - my best players were Gerrard and Naingolan
I discarded the majority of them, making just 30k back...

Anyway, I've got a cheap Premier League team on XB1 and it's great.

So I hadn't even touched the ps4 in months but felt like banging on a bit of fifa last night, turns out the depreciation of player values since the game's release enabled me to put together a decent little team. I'm only in division 6 atm but am breezing through en route to the title.

I'm looking for an affordable upgrade to Dembele next, someone that could do the tippy tappy stuff with Mata but with decent physical.

Edit: I've since replaced (and benched) Moreno with Azpilicueta, Schneiderlin with Matic and Dembele with Payet. Tried Lukaku up front but preferred Rondon still so got rid. Have Remy on the bench in case I need a bit of pace. Ideally I'd want an upgrade to Payet and Rondon but the next step up cost significantly more Having not played any games for a while I'm finding this building a squad thing quite fun, on previous fifas I used to stay out of ultimate team and stick to online seasons with Man Utd.

Over a long period you will make a hefty loss on packs. Draft is better than packs, but I would still stay clear completely. Use the transfer market to buy whoever you want, use http://www.futbin.com/ to find their lowest BIN, then look to get cheaper on bids. Can get some right bargains on there.

Buying packs is basically gambling. Yeah you could get lucky and land a decent player but more likely you'll be spending a bunch of coins on a pack worth half the value you pay. It's worse now too given the drop in player prices as obviously packs cost the same as always but players are worth a lot less. I'd say if you want to go the pack route just do the FUT draft online. That will net you 3 packs usually for the 15k or at worst 2 packs with one being a jumbo. So in terms of value you'll sometimes get 3 packs fro the price of 2 or you'll get a better 2 than if you just buy from the store. Saying that they still rarely make you your money back, but if you go to the final you can make a few grand back in match prizes too, so you can work that out as an extra 2k back from your initial outlay of 15k.
Playing the market depends on your aims. You'll obviously need to use it if you want to buy specific players. If you want to make money from it then there are different times to invest in specific sets of players, but you just missed the best opportunity with TOTY just happening.

They are taking Winter upgrade suggestions over at the EA Forums. Guarantee that there will be about 4 bronze players (from prem clubs) and 6 silver players (from prem clubs) upgraded.

Had a lot of free time last few days so I've been battering this. Once I got to division 5 I felt I needed to change up the formation and gung ho approach as I kept coming up against teams packed with superior players. Settled very nicely on 4-2-3-1 (2), feels solid and by getting the wide players more involved in the build up I can vary attacks more fluidly. Smashed d5.

Behold, Manchelsea United.

I'm thinking about getting Rooney, converting him to CM and putting him in where Schneiderlin. Works a treat for me when I use United online.

Edit: quick question lads, who should i replace valdes with? De gea is too dear for my budget cech is relatively budget friendly i noticed.

Yeah Cech is a great shot stopper, the only thing that puts me off is his mobility. Leaning towards Lloris atm.

Lloris is at 6k with Cech going for about 300-400 more.

Edit: The Bundesliga teams I'm coming up against in division 4 are ridiculous. I'm just a bystander at times watching Bayern-Dortmund hybrids finesse shot 25-30 yarders.

Edit 2: So I'm stuck in division 3 for now and what's looking like the foreseeable future. I think this is the best BPL team I'm bothered to build.

Any real upgrade on the wings or upfront go well into the hundreds of thousands. Fuck that, especially after already blowing 30k on packs and getting ALL consumables as the gold cards. EA you motherfu.......

Upto Division 6. Any tips on a better formation to use? Will try and look at replacing Wilshere and Rose soon. Rondon is also an option from the bench. When I stop getting promoted easily, I'll start to make a Bundesliga team. I'm the only one of my friends who can utilise Dortmund players properly.
