And we've lost the fewest amount of games in the league & top, so I've evidently been bloody well right most the time. And I'm certainly correct about this one.
I mean don't you say you're going to steamroller teams every week, but the reality is different?

Why would you get a champions trophy for finishing second? Seems a bit odd. I think you'll have a few silver medals, about it

You draw or lose to Vale, we win or draw at Mansfield. It’s not unthinkable we could still do it.

As Cas said Gibsons dad is a creepy twat used to say all sorts of weird shit on our Twitter, like watch Rahics babies smash teams and stuff even though Rahic was responsible for our downfall and he knew how much the fans hated Rahic, it’s like he was baiting the fans because the club didn’t pick him. Gibson was nothing more than a bench boy really. Mellor was crap, can’t remember fans been against him though, don’t even think he uses social media. Patrick was liked at first, unfortunately he decided to put lol on Twitter after we’d lost 5-0 to Portsmouth in one of the clubs most embarrassing displays in one of our worst ever seasons, it was totally unprofessional and ruined the fan’s relationship with him. The rest you’ve mentioned no fan has an issue with, Devine is also one of our own and we were desperate for him to succeed but he just wasn’t good enough. The others were unlucky with injuries. Can see a draw to see our the season, a regular trend of ours and a fitting way to end a terrible season.

Devitt’s bench shenanigans when playing for Accrington?

Just want Harrogate and Orient not to lose. Feel a bit sick about it now especially after todays games. Walsall won't roll over for us.

I can't see our youngsters, as well as they played saturday, being any match for a fired-up Bristol Rovers team. 4-0 to the Gas.

We need to be aggressive in this. We’re looking far too passive in the last few games whether it’s down to nerves I don’t know. Get someone go through the back of Matt Jay or whoever as soon as the whistle blows and see how much they want that sort of battle. A draw probably will get us to limp into the playoffs but I’ve never seen us be successful playing for that. Forget autos they are gone after todays shitshow.

Hopefully Connor Hall is back and I would be dropping Nathan Smith and putting Gibbo at RCB. Should let us be more fluid down that side with him and Worrall linking up.

I would expect us to field a strong enough team again, but our bench in recent weeks has basically been players from our youth team due to injuries & loan players being sent back and Ethan Coleman who is only 22 himself. We ended the game Saturday with only 4 players aged over 24.

Depends if Darren Pratley, Harry Smith (think his season is over though) and Ruel Sotiriou are fit to start. On Saturday we started 17 year old youngster Zach Obeiro due to Sotiriou being ill and he played 60mins before tiredness caught up with him and he was taken off, so we may go down that route again.

Tranmere having to win means the game will have something about it. Interesting that they have the best home record in the division - But have been shocking away from home in 2022, think they only have one away win this calender year.

Wellens has got us playing some decent football and the players seem alot happier, he's managed to get alot more out of this squad than Jackett was doing from Jan-March. We do get caught playing out from the back sometimes though which is going to happen under Wellens.

We will either win comfortably or narrowly lose 1-0.

Not only relying on Swindon and Sutton both to lose (Swindon only having the best away record in league and all that), but we've won four away all season, none since January and last time out made Stevenage look like world beaters.

Still, could be worse - last time I went to Orient, we were effectively relegated by ex-Rover Chris Dagnall scoring from the halfway line. I rest sound in the knowledge that, whilst my train is at 5.45am and there's no way we're winning, let alone the other results going our way, Chris Dagnall isn't playing.

We've got no chance of getting the point we need. Swindon and Sutton will get the points they need. It's so predictable.

Everyones got a chance,if predicting football results was so easy bookies wouldnt exist ,there are still gonna be a few twists and turns yet ,you can only hope its favours your own club ,same as all of us :hail:

We've got a chance of course, its a league two game 1st v 6th and 15 days ago we were on a spell of 1 loss in 19 and 8 wins and a draw in 9, we haven't become a poor side overnight but will have to be far far better than we have these past three performances.

Probably in the circumstances with probably a 1% chance of Auto's if we win the game that we focus on the play off picture and set up for a shithousing 0-0 draw, similar to what Exeter did at Vale Park.

I would make changes

Lucas Covolan in goal for me, Stone hasn't been great in recent weeks and its time to move on from the McKirdy incident, play our best keeper and he's a master of shithousery.

Gibbo in for Woz who clearly isn't fit.

and pray Connor Hall is fit to replace Hussey!

First and foremost we have to win the game against Scunthorpe.

They've drawn 2 of their last 3 so it might not be the walk in the park some are suggesting.

If we can get 2 or 3 goals up by half time then we can risk all-out attack second half.

Can't see us scoring 6 or 7 though, we haven't won a single game by more than 3 goals all season.

I’d go with Lucas also but suspect that isn’t going to happen.

Despite yesterdays disappointment in the cold light of day the one thing we know with this club in the 15 months that DC has managed us we either have these lulls where we do little right for a period of games but then flick the switch out of nowhere and sweep aside everyone for another period of games. DC’s favourite phrase is each game is it’s own project so that will be put to the test on Saturday how we bounce back.

So we managed to get 500 more tickets by moving away fans about for Saturday. They sold out in 74 seconds

Where have we put them ? On top of the stand or in the car park ?

In the toilets so they can get a better view whilst still having a shelter

Not quite correct, as a Sutton draw would be good enough. Swindon and Sutton are both away from home as well, so stranger things have happened, albeit rarely to us.

My hope is that there is a bit of complacency in the Swindon camp. They still technically have a chance of automatic promotion, and I am sure missing out on the top seven altogether has not really entered their players' heads. If they concede early on and other scores are against them, they could get anxious.

However, it is difficult to see us winning irrespective of what happens elsewhere. We have been hopeless away from home since January, even in games where we have had a real motivation to win. Kieron Morris and Callum MacDonald are back in the side, which is one positive for us.

I think probably one pathway for us to secure the playoffs is if Mansfield were to get a lead over FGR meanwhile we take it to half time goalless against Exeter. From there am sure a gentlemanly agreement to knock it around the centre circle for 45 minutes between the both of us could be arranged.

We may get beat, but it won’t be by being complacent that’s for sure.

Vale and Mansfield look very beatable at the minute so either of them in the play offs will do. Swindon seem to have hit a bit of form so they the ones to avoid

Can only see us play you if we both get to the final. You’ll either finish 3rd or 4th. If we beat Walsall we’ll finish 5th or 6th.

I reckon Vale will get beat but still finish 7th.

POs - Cobblers/Rovers v Vale, Swindon v Mansfield
