Well, my 1-1 prediction should have been the result, but shit happens. Pretty even game, Shots let down as usual by misfiring strikers; can’t fault the work rate, but that’s no use if you can’t score. Dunno what Halifax’s goal was like ,presumably the camera is some sort of cheapskate robotic device.

Thought you were very hard done by. Shots win or a draw would have been the fair result imo. Cracking cross and header for the disallowed goal. Looked a very tight call and never suspected offside. Wouldn't be too downbeat about that. Thought you looked quite handy. Especially on the counter

Highlight of tonight for me was our mercurial six-figure winger clearing one off the line in the last minute because he has had the attacking threat coached out of him enough to actually do a solid job at right back.

We’d missed all three we’d had this season before that!

Disappointing to lose tonight, didn’t deserve it at all. Dodgy offside call, then Halifax go down the other end and score. Wasn’t overly impressed with Halifax but can’t argue with their form and league position.
We’ve got the makings of a good side and we’re one decent run of form away from gatecrashing the play offs, just a shame we have absolutely no consistency. We’re also without 6 key players (3 self isolating, 3 out injured) which could be key for the run in.

We certainly won ugly. We are not always that bad though. We are lacking some key players at the minute. Hyde for one and Summerfield (who really makes us tick) but everyone has injuries so we cant use that as an excuse.

I thought you were the better side for long parts. Just missed the final ball a lot. Offside I couldn't call it. I was watching the ball not the man he was crossing it to.

He's getting the results. He's still got a lot to learn though, for example tonight we had 3 forward players well under 6 foot and just kept punting it up to them at no point did he instruct it not to happen.

He's got us playing a lot more football as well though this season compared to last. I'm hoping he will sign a new deal. He's out of contract in the summer

I know your board of directors have given Daryl McMahon the vote of confidence, but how long for? Daggers given their budget are still massively underachieving so personally I think it’s to your detriment if you keep him beyond the summer.
