Gonna be a bit weird having a 5.30pm KO on the opening day!

Crawley and Blackpool are our home and away midweek fixtures this season, which means our local and bigger games fall on weekends, which is unusual. In previous years we've ended up with Charlton, Derby etc home and away midweek.

Start at Burton (a), end with Wrexham (h).

December could be an awful month (Rotherham, Charlton, Huddersfield and Bolton) and April has the potential to be as well (Bolton, Charlton and Huddersfield).

11th of January, Mansfield (a), is FA Cup 3rd Round weekend.

We have TV's famous Wrexham (A) first up, which will excite some.

Also getting the Blackpool (A) fixture for the end of August will no doubt be popular with many.

Stevenage (A) is not an appealing fixture for Boxing Day, but is at least local (and we often don't get local games on that day) so probably about as good as it gets.

But I think all of these dates are indicative anyway until the tv games get chosen, right?

Infected by Slops in September. Eurgh

Expect Wycombe to be a tough start, established league 1 side.
Dodgy away form last season, first 3 away of Bolton, Peterborough, Birmingham. Shrews game thrown in early on too.
Could be a slow start for us

Established but average.

Anyway, both sides will be doing a lot of signing business in the close season so not really worth speculating too much until we see how the final starting XIs are set.

First Home Game against Orient again. Looking forward to the squad celebrations at FT again after a cagey 1-0 win

Birmingham away on an international weekend and Charlton away on Boxing Day are a bit annoying, but they've been pretty kind to us with Tuesday nights, at least until Sky get their mitts all over it anyway. Having said that Stockport is a good one for a 5.30 on the opening day.

Tough first three games for us with Stevenage away (never seem to do much there), followed by Peterborough at home and Huddersfield away.

Disappointing to have Stockport away on a Tuesday night but then to have Blackpool away on NYD has the potential to be a cracker. Shame we don’t go to Brum away until the end of March as I was hoping we’d be going there early doors for a nice drinking sesh but hey ho.

That was the most embarrassing thing I saw all season - and I saw Joe Piggott trying to play football on at least 10 occasions.

Our first two months look horrific, we'll probably be near the bottom after them

At home on the first day and Boxing Day, no midweek away league fixtures until next year for us.

At home for 3 of 4 International Breaks.

Apparently first set of TV fixtures etc to be confirmed by end of next week.

Gruesome first 8 fixtures for us. Bolton, Charlton, Birmingham, Posh, Reading, Stockport, Wrexham. Good job Shrewsbury are in there as well.

6 of the first 8 are against the top 6 favourites to win the league.
Rotherham (H)
Nothampton (A)
Peterborough (H)
Bolton (A)
Birmingham (H)
Blackpool (A)
Stevenage (H)
Wigan (A)

At least Charlton & Shrewsbury (A) are on Saturday's, finally.
Rovers (H) Boxing Day, so least that'll be a sell out too

International weekend's of Birmingham (H), Mansfield (H), Lincoln (H) & (A)

Why’s the 3rd round so late this year? Looks like both the 1st/2nd rounds are in November too. Was hoping it was the 4th so I didn’t have to go to Stockport again

Noticed last season not many games played in this league on international weekends, we’ve landed Exeter away on one so that’ll end up being a Tuesday if either of us get 3? called up.

Thanks.

That's Northampton (h), Wrexham (a), Exeter (a) and Exeter (h) for us. They're another couple of long away days if they end up midweek.

First time back in 2 decades and we’re on sky on the friday away to barnsley, be an interesting one for sure!

Fixture wise there’s some wins and some loses. shame for blackpool to be february for instance, and we’ve some months where the tough games are clustered together - december and april looking an ordeal.

Pleased 3 of the 4 international weekends are away.

Pleased to start at home, and Wycombe should be a good yardstick of where we are - I feel like they are a good solid top half/ middle of the table team. Last year we got a rude awakening by MK Dons so hoping that doesn't happen again.

Bolton away second game is a great trip to have on a Saturday in August but seems a tough tie to have second up.

It's just nice to be playing proper teams again.

Phew we’ve got Birmingham away November 9th, wasn’t sure if that would be lost but thank fuck

Bristol Rovers away first day - 5:30 kick off and I’ve got evening plans that day so sky sports for me, suppose that’s one small benefit of the tv deal. Blackpool away on the international break, hopefully that won’t get postponed. Looks an ok start really for us, be nice if we had some players mind.

I believe we have the worst record for opening day games out of the entire EFL. 12 without a win, pretty sure one of those was against you too, with Mr John-Joe The Toole scoring
