you got any decent pubs anywhere close to the ground yet?

Still yearn for the pub across the field with the cows, that was a class place. Many moons ago mind.
The greyhound closed about 15 years ago haha. No there’s nothing near the ground now, even the Wrestlers closes most match days. Personally my opinion for away fans: get the train and stay in the Mill Road area of Cambridge til about 45 mins til kick off then walk it from there. The Devonshire Arms, Cambridge Blue, Alexandra Arms, Swan, Earl of Beconsfield, and even the Blue Moon, Tram Depot and Elm Tree make that a better area to drink in.

An earlier Saturday KO for a home game isn't the end of the world for me, it'll be if/when they start moving weekend games to weekday that I'll struggle.

Family are all Orient fans, was looking forward to a nice day in the beer garden in the sun before the game
At least they're close so shouldn't affect too many travelling fans

Interesting article about the Sky TV deal and football finances in general. Impossible according to our CEO for Bolton to be sustainable and have ambition, sold off the TV rights and Sky are paying less per match. Clubs will lose out on I Follow money from games that they were allowed to show domestically, and most probably gate revenue, all for £400,000 per season. Great deal for Sky, not potentially for match goers

Completely agree. Sold our souls for 400k per club.
We still have quite a few unsold tickets for out game on Saturday, if it isn't a sellout like the home games were at the end of last season I'm pinning that on the kick off time move and it being on Sky, which will only happen more often in the future.
And once people realise the impact of all the kick off changes on them then season ticket renewals for next season will be a difficult sell
