Not surprised, he hasn't done much with a decent budget. I wonder if this will be the start of the end for them..like things with Crawley.

I think it is three actually, Posh, Donny and Fleetwood.
Oh, I bet Crewe fans wished they were playing us next!

Their budget has been quite heavily cut this season. I'm not surprised because Pilley seems to fire from the hip quite regularly. Nigel Greenwood and his brother were sacked after winning three promotions and replaced by Micky Mellon.

Bit harsh.

I actually quite like Fleetwood, which is strange for a money club. They seem to be investing in the infrastructure at the club rather than simply the team. Plus it's a good away day.

Harsh sacking IMO, done very well last year. Budget cut this year, first time they have ever looked in trouble and trigger has been pulled not given a chance to turnaround the form

A lot of chairmen realise this might be the best season to get promoted etc. Probably why there's been so many so far.

Fleetwood strike me very much like Crawley. The moneypot which got them into the League and then promotion to League one has dried up. On saturday they should of been out of sight against us first half but not sure how much further any manager can take a club of their size. Maybe the chairman has ideas above his station.

Club has cut back the first team budget but as rightly said invested massively in infrastructure.

Objective this season is simply survival but we have been very poor and perhaps given new circumstances Alexander is now not the right man for Fleetwood.

Ironically Alexander seems a well respected manager overall but the fans here never really warmed to him or his anti football tactics. If we are to capitulate then at least go out throwing punches not cowering in a corner.

Be interesting to see who comes in or more to the point who is up for the challenge.

We would do well to get Steve Evans the only man that actually got Alexander to show any passion, and throw a punch in the tunnel. Not the first aimed at him I am sure :bl:

I was shocked by this news as I thought he was a good manager, but obviously the fans wanted him gone and at the end of the day it's their club.

Yes cos that's how football works, fans, inevitably, have very little input, look at Blackpool.

Would Mr Evans want that job if they've cut back on finances? He only seems to go where he has millions to spend.

On the plus side, I hear he's partial to a bit of fish and a mountain of chips...

Evans and Raynor were at our game Tuesday night.

The thought of him still scares me. #WestleyIn

Well they usually do, apart from when a club is run by a massive c*** like theirs.

This.

The fans, at most clubs are valued customers.

At Blackpool FC we're potential law suits.

Pilley gives a f*** about Fleetwood, building an infrastructure for the future. Shame their home attendances will keep them from really pushing on.
