Feels like we could go for another win after Tuesday's heroics, especially given FGR's seemingly poor home form and our long (by our standards) unbeaten run. But really any result that keeps us out of the bottom two would be great, preferably at least a draw since one of Crawley and Yeovil are guaranteed to pick up points.

What with our home form and Macc clearly being very motivated I'm not confident. Gonna be a tough battle.

Not much I can add. Maccs' need is far greater than ours relatively. We need something out of this though, other results have been very kind to us, but hopefully today with Doidge scoring again and Reece Brown (player of the month EFL2) to support him we will hit some home form.

I think Doidge is a fairly regular scorer against us over the last few years so I'd expect that to continue. I have a feeling of this being one game too far in our unbeaten run. We'll probably score, but can see FGR getting 3.

We have played 20 home game in the league this season and have managed to score two goals or more in just four of those games, I will be really surprised if we get as far as three. I usually go for a draw as a prediction for home games and am rarely disappointed, I would only be confident of a win today if we can take a two goal lead into the halftime break, one is rarely enough!

If Pearson is out that's a huge loss as he's been fantastic since coming back from injury and the switch to this system, while MWH isn't good enough for league 2.

Macc doing an impression of a good side, glad someone is.

We started to make an impression before the brake. So hopefully we're working it out.

Pretty even so far, we've had the ball a fair bit but unable to create anything of note in the final third. Just feel any mistake we make at the back will be punished by the quality FGR have there.

Set pieces are our nemesis this season. Can't defend them, can't score from them. In open play we are a decent match for most teams, not particularly threatening but solid at least.

I'm just glad the current bottom two didn't capitalise.

Ignoring set pieces we were (just) the better team, unfortunately we're pathetic with our own and vulnerable defending them. Frustrating afternoon.

That sounds like a good summary; listening you seemed to be having more than your fair share of the ball but rarely actually made our keeper work.

Not much in it in open play, but Macc shading it probably. We seldom look competent at home. We seem pretty short of quality for the most part. In the send it was two bits of quality that made the difference though. Thank god for our Swindon lad, Joe Mills. He has quality.

Yep quality player is Mills. Thought Junior Mondal did well too, good prospect I reckon.

I see we're top of the form table over the past 6 games, funny cos it doesn't seem like it.

The game was not pretty, but the point has been made it's all about the points and not the performance when the chips are down. Encouraging we're showing some desire, still not convinced yet though. Friday another massive game.

Joint top. Even our goal difference is identical, which is weird.

Yeah that's right actually, identical records. Sets up Friday's game nicely.
