Who'd have backed tiny Burton Albion to be the ones who made it to the Championship, a feat achieved, as far as I am aware, entirely in the right way, on money they've earned through the turnstiles and in the transfer market, and putting every one of the REAL football clubs currently below them in the pyramid, to eternal shame. My old man, RIP, would be turning in his grave at the state of York City. He used to bore me shitless about Arthur Bottom and how the dirty bastard Jimmy Scoular prevented York getting to a F A Cup final.

I took him to the play off final between Crewe and York in a private box at Wembley. Great day out that!

When they introduced automatic promotion/relegation, who would have thought so many would not just be stuck here, but also heading even further down?
