Believe me, under our previous manager, it was the most entertaining part of the game for us home fans.

Just seen a stat where last season we scored our 34th goal of the season on the 21st March vs Gillingham, this season it came on the 21st October, 5 months earlier. Despite us losing our top scorer last season in Agyei. Don't think any Crewe fan would have expected that level of improvement.

Enjoyed my trip to Bradford on Saturday. I'm trying to remember the last time I saw a crowd that big in a league game. At Hillsborough, maybe? I think after 40 years in The Conference, you forget what it's like to be the smaller team in a league fixture. Anyway, good day out: had a belting pint of best bitter and both Bantams fans and hi-viz brigade were all in good spirits.

I thought Wrexham were a bit shit. I'm not sure if it's Elliot Lee not firing on all cylinders, or it's the revolving doors at the back. Nice to see Jordan Tunnicliffe back in the starting lineup, but it's got to be Jordan Davies next weekend, surely. Agree with what others have said though, Wrexham don't add up to the sum of their (expensive) parts on a performance like that.

Bradford created loads but couldn't finish, Wrexham couldn't create but took their chance when it came; I suppose that's what we pay our strikers £100,000 a week for. A draw was *probably* a fair result, but Bradford were piling on the pressure towards the end so I think their fans will be as disappointed as we were relieved.

Amazing what happens when the club finally stops building the team around unreliable, injury prone players like Ainley and reverts to the style of play that served us well for many, many years under Dario.

Should have been given a penalty for the foul on Mullin (the one in Fletcher not a pen for me) but then again Bradford should have had one for the hand ball so it all evens out. Draw seems about right.

Why are we still talking about the Swindon match?
