Bristol Rovers only giving us 777 tickets which we’ve sold out, quite a few people have missed out seems pretty rough I thought the EFL had a 10% capacity allocation rule?
You have dicked us around though. You didn't request your full allocation and only asked for 200 initially, then didnt ask for any more until recently, then came back asking for more after that.
I wouldnt have thought it would be an issue anyway as you didnt even sell out for that conference play off 2nd leg.

Keep up, everyone has been moaning all season about how shite Bristol Rovers are with their away ticketing. Just go in the home end because they never sell that out.

Hence why Walsall are a bigger club than them in every sense.

Well clearly it is an issue as the 777 sold out quickly and the phone lines are jammed. We could easily have sold 1100 from what I’m hearing, which is what we should have been given.

I couldn’t give a fuck about Walsall, what’s that got to do with anything?

You make no sense with all due respect;

We have sold out every allocation Bristol Rovers have given us within a few hours!

There are still loads of our fans trying anyway they can to get tickets even though they are now sold out.

Your club just arrogantly thought we were another Salford and would bring about 400!
A very small club at this level we may be, but we are not Salford and never will be.

Our Away support is much better than our home support in comparative noise and numbers.
I remember Swindon making the same assumption as you and being shocked when we took 900 fans to them for an early Tuesday night game in the League Cup.

In what way aren't you another Salford? You have tin pot attendances and are only where you are thanks to being a play toy for someone with money

Nothing like Salford no.

A thick cretin like you wouldn’t get that though, obviously.

We have history.
History that consists of being saved by default from relegation to the conference south even though you finished in the relegation zone, until a rich owner came in and decided he'd spunk his money on your club to advertise his other businesses and get a nice little ego kick from his moronic 'morals'. Yeah, wonderful.

Segregation issues kick in though the more away fans there are meaning the capacity is reduced and allocation % is therefore also reduced.
Ive no idea what our capacity currently is, with so many tents and temp stands knocking around, but id have thought 900 would be more like 10%

Our history goes back way further then just our Conference years, we were founded in 1889 ffs. plus we were only reprieved twice in 12 years in the Conference pre Vince.

Your history is all non-league other than when a rich money man was bored and wanted to further his agenda. Period.

What’s wrong with a history in non league? There are hundreds of brilliant non league clubs around the country at the centre of their communities with long histories and life long fans. We were a great little club long before you were born/had ever heard of us.

Nothing, love non-league.

The only reason you're going up the leagues is because you're a rich mans play toy.

Exactly like Salford City.

You're both way above your natural level. You're basically the Chelsea / Newcastle / Man City of the lower leagues.

Free to do it, obviously - but don't pretend you're different to Salford, you're not.

I would say we’re more similar to Crawley, Morecambe or Stevenage.

Salford weren’t anywhere pre takeover, we were one division lower then we are now and playing in our current stadium. It’s not like Vince built us from the ground up. His money has pushed us on, no doubt but that’s no different to most clubs that rely on owners digging into their pockets. And our budget is less then Salford, 8th-10th in league 2 this season apparently. So not exactly Man City-esque

And two seasons later I remember my local side, Exmouth Town, got to the semi of the FA Vase, it was a big thing at the time. They played some small club from up North called Fleetwood Town. Wonder what happened to them?

It will be interesting to see how FGR deal with really big followings like Portsmouth, Sunderland, Sheff Weds next season (if they stay down) as I think there were some issues with Bristol City and Swindon this season?

It's all your own fault that you're that far down the pyramid you have the possibility of sharing a division with us tinpotters.

Vale at home with a bumper crowd not expecting much if DC is there there's a show of support planned for him from our fans if any morons start chanting any nonsense they will be dealt with by the vast majority.Football comes second in cases like this.

With difficulty to be honest. But unless some way of segregating one of the other stands emerges (can't quite see it) they'll get the same 1,224 tickets that the two Bristol clubs, Swindon, Cheltenham, Argyle and I think Exeter have previously sold out.

The club have said they need to make special provisions for water and electricity when it's a near-sell out up there, so the issues are more than just traffic hell on the hill....

We still have a less shit away end than Bristol Rovers...

Here’s hoping so. As I said though only takes one or two to ruin things sadly.

Is it asking too much for Walsall to give Zak Mills a go in this one? ;) Doesn’t seem will see any of Rodney other than off the bench it seems. He really needs to focus his mind next pre-season as think it’ll be make or break for him career-wise.

There was definitely potential there in the behind closed doors season and he scored a couple of good strikes. Sadly, he just hasn't got a footballing brain, he can't read the game and his awareness and instinct is virtually zero. With his pace, he should be tearing it up. Unfortunately he's a non league player.

Zak Mills....wow, he's up there with our worst ever signings. Just dreadful.

Mills actually came good at one point when DC came in then he got crocked for the season, Walsall also had Zak Jules who was god awful for us and he did ok so you never know.

Rodney is one that frustrates me as he really has the potential and I loved him last season but just wasn’t any improvement was there sadly and regressed with us as he seems to have done elsewhere. As said his decisions on the field are what’s let him down.

Mills just appears to be one of those players who will always find his way into another L2 club leaving you wondering how good his agent must be. Probably equally as worrying was John Askey sounding so happy he landed the deal when he signed him, should have known things were about to go south with him then in retrospect.

Thing with Rodney was on the iFollow streams in the closed door season he looked like he had a real burst of pace and thought he’d terrorise opposition defences especially with a crowd behind him. Seeing him live though I’ve not seen that pace at all from him and the permanently confused look he has on his face as he misjudges another off ball run or smacks one into the back of the stand grew thin very quickly.

Sutton at home on Saturday and yet another opponent up near the top of the table. Sutton can afford to lose a match (as they have a game in hand), and hopefully this will be the 1. Sutton don't have a great record in Barrow as Barrow have won 4 and drawn 3 of the previous 7 games.
Sutton's forum has realised that 3 of the 4 goals we scored against FGR were from corners and think that will be our main threat.... they don't seam to realise that they were only our 2nd, 3rd and 4th goals from corners all season.
The main objective of the day is to match or better Oldham and Stevenages results;- IF Oldham were to lose to Salford then a win for us sees us safe. Similarly an Oldham draw and a Barrow win means they would need to win both their remaining games and overturn a 17 GD difference to go above us if we lose our last 3.
A Barrow win, Oldham Draw and Stevenage defeat would be ideal. We'd be safe and Oldham could still catch Stevenage.....

True, just about. Away fans have been better off not seeing much of the action so far this year though..
