Things are seriously bleak for us at Crewe, we’re in big trouble. Feel sorry for Artell.

Aye, it’s grim. Can’t see where our next goal never mind win is coming from. That midfield is ridiculously out of its depth, edging towards being one of the worst we’ve had imo.

I dread fans turning on Artell and Kenny cos this summer has been a complete shits how that I don’t think they can shoulder much of the blame for. But it is intriguing what the hell has gone on with Hoban, Lowery… and Macdonald? And Dale?

Charles Grant keeps saying we basically need to be in L1 to almost function as a club. That directors have to keep us afloat when we’re in L2. So surely action has to be taken ASAP. I’ll start getting disillusioned if we keep sleepwalking until the transfer window shuts. The Lowery (and Dale?) stalemates have to be broken - ship him off with his agent or get him signed. Then add someone better than we have. Anyone.

Enjoyed that, bonner got his tactics absolutely spot on today and every player gave 100%, we let Bolton have the ball but as soon as they got past half way we was straight on them.

thought we started well and deservedly went ahead with a well worked move then probably from 25mins onwards it was backs to the wall and let Bolton come onto us but they didn’t really do enough with it, other than their no 17(can’t remember the name)

Digby again for me was immense, constantly in the tackle, barking orders and just being fucking awesome, as was Jones who is what I call a proper defender, don’t know what contract he’s on but give him a bumper one.
Disappointed donny next wk is off but there’s a few niggles in the camp so will hopefully give a chance for some to recover.

You miserable sod, this was a magnificent win for Morecambe and whether it was lucky or not nothing can take away the fact that Morecambe ( Only promoted last year ) beat Sheff Wed ( relegated form the Championship ) last year. You Shrimpers celebrate, we'll hear them in Fleetwood !
Of course I’m miserable do you want me to be happy that we got beat?

This sounded like an evenly fought game and a draw a fair result from both games. Be interested to hear from Plimuth fans, for the Cods a good result and a further steadying of results as we claw our way up the table ( but not by much )
We started the better of the two sides, and then with your only real chance on goal in the first half you equalised.

Second half was a lot closer, not many chances for either side. We’ve got 5 out injured or suspended and 2 more to sign, and it shows because we’ve got nothing on the bench. Nobody to change a game, just Jordan Garrick. Who hit the bar with a speculative effort towards the end.

Frustrating because it feels like we are dropping points, not having a fully fit squad available. Fleetwood did alright second half, Mike Cooper made a decent save at one point when I thought you might have scored.

Callum Morton, who torn it up for Northampton in L2, was shite. Which surprised me a bit.

We were much improved yesterday but difficult to really judge as Crewe were so poor, we still allowed them a couple of opportunities and we were quite wasteful in front of goal.

Could and probably should have been 4 or 5 really.

Hard fought 1-0 win against an impressive, but toothless Portsmouth. To have been second best for large periods of the game, but still take three points is an extremely positive sign. Ten points from 12 now since our loss at Sunderland on the opening day going into a much needed two-week break.
Congrats on the win. "Impressive but toothless" is a good description of us.

The Cowley overhaul has been good generally, except we're still playing Kenny Jackett's front three and they've never really gelled as a unit.

I still think the plan was to get a decent transfer fee for Curtis and use the money to rejig the front line but time is running out. Will be an interesting last few days of the transfer window for us.

Is it possible that Paul Cook was living off Leam Richardson's talent all along?

Can see why no one has paid money for Curtis, he was s**t and the only thing of note he did all game was a pathetic dive late on to try and win a dangerous free kick. How Jacobs doesn’t play over the likes of him I don’t know. Harness was your most dangerous attacker, if you play him on the right, Jacobs on the left and sign a good striker then you’ll be a serious top two contender.

Can't really disagree with this. I think the Cowleys were hoping Curtis would bang a couple in this month and the rumoured Championship interest would come to fruition. He's direct, aggressive and has a shot on him. However he's not particularly quick and doesn't really have skills to beat someone one-on-one. Personally, I think a typical Championship full back wouldn't lose too much sleep over him and it's probably why nobody has offered the seven figure asking price.

I'm a huge fan of Jacobs and not sure why the Cowleys don't fancy him. It can only be worries about overall fitness as he absolutely should be in the team. The difference in our form last season with and without him was stark, but sadly he was injured most of the time.

Teams like Morecambe and Cambridge are a disgrace calling themselves football clubs, they shithouse their way through games, take Cambridge yesterday, started time wasting on 20 minutes, and they WERE the HOME side, Morecambe similar, I'm pretty sure there are more, but these wasters are a disgrace, and this isn't sour grapes, I'd have said the same had we won.

Expect those comments from small minded small time club supporter, my beef is if they come away and shithouse, I can go with that, but to time waste for more than an hour at HOME is a fucking disgrace, I spent the best part of £200.00 to witness that shit, it's why teams like them and others will never reach the higher levels in the game

Say chap, did you and the other roughly 1000 missing Bolton fans manage to get back home safely? We were all more than a tad worried when we saw the half empty away stands.

Re. your comment on time wasting, I think you need to shop around for a decent watch. Those cheap Chinese knockoffs on ebay are only for show.

What a fucking waste of 30 seconds reading that, even your gaffer said we were by far the better team, but his shithousing tactics won you the game, I think your still riding high on the fact you beat a massive team, enjoy it you won't have many highs when teams work out your shitness, and 1500 fans travelling over 200 miles is more than your tiny outfit could do in a full season

If you’d won the game you wouldn’t be griping. Every club does it - OK some more than others. Sounds like it was your own failings that were to blame not a bit of shithousing.

Get some sugar on those grapes!

Cambridge played like the away side, and if their fans are happy with that, then like I say they deserve eternal lower league football, it's all they're gonna see, meanwhile we've got leagues to climb.

I think you’ve been listening to Ian Evatt too much. Your manager was out thought and all your big time players started throwing their dummy’s out. You had 70% possession but kept passing to people in the stand rather than players in white.

We controlled the game without the ball through good tactics worked on at the training ground. You must understand clubs like us won’t put football you. The sooner you as a fan and your manager learn this the quicker you can adapt your game to deal with it when it happens to you because yesterday after 30 mins you’d run out of ideas.

Then you’ll have to get better. Nobody is going to bend over and spread their cheeks just because some once-upon-a-time big club is in town.

I really enjoyed watching your manager and players cry yesterday and would enjoy it every week. We don’t need to play like that every week to win though. Oh and we finished above you last season scoring more goals and conceding less than you so yes we are entertained Masi.

Oh well, a win's a win. Not the greatest of games and with Charlton, being 2-0 up at half time didn't really settle anybody's nerves. We've lost matches from better positions than that in recent seasons. But hey... not to grumble.

Adkins must surely realise by now what he's taken on. We're not quite the basket case club we were when Duchatelet was owner, but the hangover is lasting longer, and the recovery is taking longer, than it should. Lee Bowyer never knew what his best team was and made changes at every opportunity, often just for the sake of it. The team didn't rotate, it span like a tumble dryer. I liked him at first but he became a part of the problem in the end.

Hopefully, fewer loanees and settled first team selections will start to produce some consistency.

Fair point but you only get 11,000 because you give your season tickets away with every pair of Lonsdale trainers sold in sports direct.
