I’ll happily be proved wrong, but let’s see untill later in the season.

Some of the comments on here regarding Yeovil are comical, opposite side of the coin to how County fans are reacting!!

Comical in what way?

Think he’s suggesting that both sets of fans are going ott on how their respective seasons are going to pan out off the back of one result.

If you can’t get a bit excited and optimistic after a 4-0 win away at a promotion favourite, when can you?

We have abandoned everything that made us successful last season

We were a big, physical direct side. Now we are trying to play like man city with a bunch of midgets.

Played well for twenty minutes. Then we lost all confidence. Boos in the first half. Embarrassing...

It’s what the boo boys and idiots in the Kop wanted last season when winning at home all the time , less direct more football. Someone needs to remind them . Stewards in football should remove any fan that boos before half time or shouts out pass back when it isn’t

Hemmings not got off to a good start? He didn't with us and looked really fed up but soon started banging them in... just misses 10 chances for a every goal he scores, hence why he's in league two.

Seems county didn't sign players in the most needed position, the defence!

So a 0 4 humping at home is the fans fault now ,not the nolan sister or his players

Exactly! It's been a long time coming...

I'm all for a bit of excitement, I don't want to take anything away from the last two results Yeovil have got in the league but I just think it's naive to think it's a sign of things to come so early in the season.

Same applies to County too.

Well done Yeovil, was very impressed by them especially as most of their starting XI played Tuesday, but by God we made it easy! What has happened to Shaun Brisley over the summer?

It’s probably our worst home defeat since we lost 0-5 to Macc 13 or 14 years ago. The only consolation is we are only 3 games in and there is plenty of time to turn things around.

Hemmings and Boldewijn have been our only two players to come out of the first three games with any credit, i’ve been really impressed with him. Missed a penalty last night but the game was lost by then anyway.

Arquin will definitely get bored in a few weeks, by the way. He’s so talented and was obviously going to be up for it against us, but you won’t get a season of that out of him or anything close.

I was amazed at the number of misplaced passes your players made throughout the game. The mistake after two minutes very nearly let us in to score.

Crikey! Didn't see that coming.

After a really early chance for us, County dominated possession for about 20 minutes and had a goal chalked off for offside and i thought the game was panning out how i'd predicted. Backs to the wall job. Then we started causing them more problems on the break and got the goal and after that we were simply awesome from back to front and could have had 10 or more goals last night.

Extremely impressive performance in isolation but not to get carried away. I enjoy it and move on.

Notts have got a quality squad so will improve no doubt although it does appear that Nolan is beginning to feel the heat judging by listening to Radio Notts on the way home.

Very honest post match interview from the manager as you would expect and hope for. He’ll be rightly furious. Glad I missed it personally , part time fan this season

Anyone know how many Yeovil fans were there last night? Usually says on twitter but can't see it anywhere. I reckoned about 150.

No,nobody came even close to saying that. Read, then read again, think , then type.
It’s clearly the manager, backroom staff and players fault.
But isn’t the manager responding to the fans’ moans and groans about hoof ball from last season. Stick to what you know, I reckon. Very difficult to change styles - especially in L2.

Sounds like the Shaun Brisley we had has turned up.

Well you have once again proved you are the dimmest Stag on here, which is a stunning achievement . Too much cheap lager I’m guessing.

Nobody said the fans / boo boys are to blame for the performance or results this season.

No not really , he’s got thicker skin than that. He was backed by chairman, brought the players he wants so we aren’t so one dimensional. 10/12 games , not 3

First 20 minutes it was like the Alamo with relentless pressure from us. One Yeovil scored it was the point of no return and they knew exactly how to control the game and add to their tally.

Many Notts fans complained about our direct style last season and this season bears no resemblence to last. Unsurprising to hear the hypocrites moaning about last season wanting Nolan out. Which is far too early but only 7 wins since Christmas means too many more bad results and the tide will ultimately begin to turn against Nolan. The vast majority of anti Notts criticism on social media comes from the same 20 vociferous accounts who won't be happy until Nolan has gone.

Yep, yet none of them can come up with a feasible , realistic and above all superior replacement. Time and time again, these clowns repeat the same drivel , wanting instant results, demanding change and taking on the ever so tough task of criticising a 4th tier football team.

Everyone is dump in this league it’s called the basement division for a reason

It's impossible to say for sure but personally i believe the Notts goal ruled out for offside when they were having their sustained spell of pressure first half was a blessing in disguise. Had that been given at that point then i could have seen County going on to win the game comfortably. Without wanting to be too disrespectful to our lads.

Key moments in games.

Really enjoyed my evening at Meadow Lane (for obvious reasons) but all the Pies fans i spoke to were really friendly and they got behind their team.

How can a disallowed goal be a blessing in disguise?

It’s surely a very obvious blessing.
