If Orient fans are interested in having Gary Hill I think it's worth their time looking at his employment history and what happened to clubs generally after he was there. It's generally not pretty.

He was a bit of a disaster with us, with a reasonable backing (and rumor had it the source of the backing was actually his brother the property developer).

To be fair he seems to have done a good job at Woking, I'm not denying that, but I'm suggesting that for those unaware of his history looking back a bit further than the last couple of seasons might be more of an indicator of who he is as a manager and a person.

After he left Daggers he chased the money around with various money clubs, Hornchurch, Weymouth and R & D. Woking was his first job where he got back to basics.

Billericay awaits.

So Woking can't offer Garry Hill a new contract, yet have announced that they have a new manager only 48 hours after the initial statement about Hill?

Yep and the investor(s) haven't even become the majority shareholder yet (if they ever do) but seem to be calling the shots on who the management is.

Sounds like we should be able to bank on our usual 6 points against Woking over Christmas again

Might have a flutter on Woking to go down next season if they're over Evens.

The first sign that these new investors have no idea what they're doing.

Replacing a seasoned non-league manager who has never been relegated with a youth academy coach.

Sounds DODGY as hell all the goings on at Woking.

That's one relegation place sewn up.

Our new manager Anthony Limbrick speaks very well but he knows it doesn't mean anything and that he has to get results. We're going into 'full-time' training but really it's just an added day. Limbrick is on a three-year deal (yes, I know).

Still not much clearer on the investor and who he has actually spoken to on the board. The 25th of May is when the general meeting is to be held and the transfer of shares from our majority shareholder to the investor will take place. No idea how we'll manage to fund all this if the deal falls through yet our board seemed pretty sure that it wouldn't. We'll wait and see.
