Pretty obvious they were arguing about the clear foul on Lowe before he passed it back.

Genuinely didn’t occur to me at the time that it might be a foul but yeah looking at it again it probably is to be fair to him. The reaction of the keeper and the fullback are still way in excess of what it should have been.

Bit of an implosion by Derby both defensively and discipline wise in that last few minutes.

Luton 1-0 up v Sheff Wed and thoroughly deserved. Although a year ago we’d be 4 up by now.

Iorfa. Damn he makes our Centre Halves look like Prem players. Then there was The Hulk who came on..........love Bannon he always causes us problems but other than that........

We still made difficult work of a game we should have been out of sight against a very poor performance from Weds. Great commitment tonight but we need it every single game to have even a glimmer.

We got battered by Leeds on Tuesday, hopefully we can bounce back with a better performance on the weekend but Birmingham seem to have found some form.

4-4 - Hull v Swansea!

A goal feast from 2 teams who hadn't scored many in recent weeks.

Swansea come from a goal down 3 times to lead then Hull scored in injury time

No VAR to mess things up either.

What a week for the mighty hats!

Our first points away from home since SEPTEMBER. Middlesbrough were absolutely dreadful.

We’ve gone off the boil a bit, and lost 3 players to injuries today. Not great for our push but if we pick up a couple of wins in our next couple of games it’ll all be alright again.
Blackburn at the weekend now a massive game.

Thanks Andre Marriner for turning down a certain pen for Luton and chalking off a perfectly good goal.
PL officials eh?

Not our day yesterday. Think they wrapped Brown in cotton whool with this game in mind and he gets ill, LuaLua also picks up a knock and suddenly our 2 best attacking players are not available for an absolutely key game. Without one or the other we might be ok but both. Uphill battle from the get go.

We played decently but final 3rd things broke down with the only way we could get joy in terms of chances created was from wide but some of the delivery into the box from Potts in particular was bloody laughable. What is he doing starting at this level? The one dangerous ball put in Cornick scores from but just couldn’t do it consistently despite it being the obvious area of weakness to attack.

Taylor was excellent and had all the threat we lacked up front. First goal was a fantastic bit of play from him.

The offside is the major talking point but it’s ridiculously close either way. You’d need VAR getting those lines out for a good few minutes to sort it out. If it had gone the other way and it had stood there would be complaints the other way. It happens, we got the benefit of one in the reverse fixture so the old adage rings true to an extent. Should have done better following it and Collins (who had a shocking afternoon, the worst I’ve seen him play in a very king time) certainly shouldn’t have given away a ridiculously dumb penalty which was the real costly mistake in the game to be frank. At 1-1 the next goal was key and Collins gave it to them. Was game over from that point not the offside IMO

Unfortunately Collins has zero understanding of how to stay onside. I can think of several goals that have been disallowed because of this over the season, and numerous other moves that have broken down as he was offside. Have a look at Cornick's goal - look at Collins and explain why on earth he thinks that being in that position is a good idea, all he is doing is taking himself right out of the game and potentially risking having another goal disallowed.
Regarding the disallowed goal, whether it was the right decision or not, any player with half a brain would have held his run, but ........Plus he got away with an offside in the home game which should have resulted in the equaliser being disallowed for interfering with the keeper (ooerrr mrs.)
Amazed that our hundreds of managers/coaches/technical staff/video watchers don't seem to be able to sort this out.

Rant over.

Despite recent upturn in form from us still think we are very much out of the running in the fight to stay up. Left it too late and our goal difference really counts against us massively.

We have some winnable games coming up especially at home but you’re taking about us putting 3 match plus winning runs which doesn’t seem particularly realistic, especially with everyone else around us picking up too. Got a feeling Barnsley in particular will be the great escape artists this year.

If we had got Rea back a month or so sooner we might have had more of a chance. In terms of balance of the whole team it’s like night and day between him being in that DM role and not.

Stoke do baffle me a bit. Looking at the team and quality on that pitch, they should be doing far, far better than what they are.

They started off fast yesterday, got ahead through a niggly Sam Vokes and then had a Tom Ince shot saved by Simon Sluga. And then after that I can't remember him having another save to make.

They sat back, didn't press high, waited to try and pick us off on the counter and tried to hang on to a 1-0 lead... Pulis-esqe style of play, apart from the fact these lads haven't got the bottle. They were playing it in the corner from the 85th minute against a team with the worst defence in the division and by far a lower budget than themselves.
