Stuttgart score! As do Hertha to level at Hoffenheim.

Freiburg into the bottom two, Stuttgart now safe!

Wow.

Hamburg in the play-off spot once again. Only takes a Freiburg goal to relegate them though...

2-0 Hannover. All over for Freiburg and Paderborn.

Good firefighting job by Huub Stevens at Stuttgart, that!

2-0 to Hannover. Last chance of an upset gone. Unless...

Relegation would be quite harsh on Freiburg tbh. They've played better than last season and yet they're going down. Can't see them staying in the Zwei too long if they keep roughly the same players.

FT at Paderborn. Freiburg pull one back in the 92nd minute but surely won't get another?!

Hamburg fans waiting desperately for the whistle at Hannover!

edit: there it is! Shame for Freiburg, that.

i am so ashamed that we helped to relegate Freiburg, that will cost me some days to come over it.

the time is over for RDM, what a shit manager, worst second season half since we were promoted back to the Bundesliga in 1991, only 14 goals scored....unbelievable......

time for a change.

i hope we will make a cut after the seasdon. our youth could win the championship once again on monday and a lot of talent is in there. hopefully we will release a lot of the crap who are not interested in the club

Congratulations to Darmstadt who earn promotion after a 1-0 win against St Pauli. Karlsruhe easily beat 1860 Munich 2-0 and will face Hamburg in the play-off. Cmon Karlsruhe!
Big, big scare at Heidenheim where Aue pulled back a 2-goal deficit and a win would have relegated 1860 direclty as FSV Frankfurt won at Düsseldorf. In the end it finished 2-2 and will face Holstein Kiel in the play-off. Fun.

Back to back promotions for Darmstadt, having nearly been relegated from the third tier two years ago? Crazy.

Their budget this season was around €5M I believe - respect!

Dortmund have signed Gonzalo Castro from Leverkusen today, too.

GFCO Ajaccio who achieved promotion to Ligue 1 last week had a budget of 4.5M€. France > Germany.

Eintracht Frankfurt manager Thomas Schaaf resigns. Said he wasn't backed enough by the board. Strange.

Don't imagine it'll be too difficult for him to get another Buli job? Probably one of Stuttgart/Hamburg/Bremen when any of them have a shite start to next season or something.

Also it seems Klopp is taking a sabbatical. Waiting for Wenger to retire?

Roberto Di Matteo has left Schalke! Feels more surprising than it probably should, but it has not worked out at all, pure and simple.

Potentially, I guess. He did a decent job at Frankfurt (or so it seemed from what I've seen anyway). Schalke need to clear out and rebuild I think. They have a core group of youngsters coming through - Draxler, Meyer, Goretzka, Sane and the GK (Wellenreiter?) all coming through so I think it's important to try and build it around those, for now.

Meh. Not many chances in that game. Their equaliser came a bit out of nowhere but was a tidy one. Karlsruhe scored from the off and hit the bar twice in a minute early in the second half. Hamburg have to score on Monday otherwise they're going down. I really wish they do.

Holstein Kiel and 1860 played out a goalless draw in the first leg. Not a bad result but concede at home and we're down.

Wolfsburg won the Pokal 3-1 against Dortmund. Their outstanding season deserved a trophy. Well done to them.

in a few minutes the regionalliga playoffs second leg will kick off.

the OFC Kickers (south-west winner) will host Magdeburg (north-east winner) ( 0:1 in the first leg)
the Würzburger Kickers (south winner) are hosting Saarbrücken (south-west runner-up) (1:0 in the first leg)
and the reserve of Mönchengladbach (west winner) meet the reserve of Bremen ( north winner) (0:0 in the first leg)

the away goal rule is on and the three winners will promote to the 3rd Liga
