Hopefully. We always get pummeled at your ground. Can't see it this time.
A win will see us at least stay within a shout of the playoffs. 0-2 to the boys in yellow.

Defence tightened slightly against Millwall last week and keeper is definitely an improvement as he tries to dominate his area although that has already led to one mistake costing a goal.

Dack finishes his suspension so will hopefully be fresh for the Charlton game on Easter Monday

On balance, I think we could nick a 1-1 but no better.

Big win for Gills. We were caught out trying to get a winner than got punished again to make it 3-1.
Happy with our first season back in league 1 after back to back promotions.
There's always next year.

Fair play Gills and (grits teeth) well done on a fine first season back at this level to the other lot (ungrits teeth). That's the play off dream finished methinks but you've had a fine first year back at this level.
As you were.

Johnson has turned things round nicely hasn't he. Nice bit of breathing space now for you lot. Can afford to lose at Blackburn as you will easily beat Barnsley and (even more easily) Birmingham at home.

We can't breath easily at all yet fella, plenty of twists and turns to go. IF we can avoid defeat on Monday, I will feel more confident and Forest are in deep shit now. I can see Blackburn overhauling them TBH but we're by no means safe yet. We're finally playing some good stuff again and Matty Taylor suddenly looks like a Championship footballer now he's playing up top in a two.
Getting there but by no means safe yet, that's where I think we are.
Fair play to you lot but I would have found DC's radio interview quite concerning if I were one of you (SHUDDER!!).

A few on our forum are in meltdown over it atm. I'll wait until the transfer window before I judge anything.
Can't see you going down. Your home form is too good. Barnsley are on the beach and Birmingham are wank. Think a win and a draw will be enough for you. You certainly have the players to get those results

Said awhile back Forest will probably take the final relegation place. Rovers fans said Taylor had a bad miss in him but he just wasn't getting the minutes for you to make up for it. Started two games in a row now? and believe he's been instrumental in both wins. Sadly that petty 300K you paid was worth it on the basis that it stopped us, I reckon we'd have been in the playoffs had we kept him as the general comments from opposition teams is about us not being clinical. Taylor isn't exactly clinical but he's smart and get's in way more goal scoring positions which is why he often has a shocking miss, but more importantly scores goals.

Don't quite see the DC interview like most others do. He said "My supporters, like myself, and my owners, we wanna move forward" and that was really positive to me tbh, almost like it's his club. I think it just sounds worse because DC is a little disappointed we're not gonna make the playoffs, and he wants success all the time. Our highest finish in 17 years means nothing to him, he wanted playoffs.

Re: you lot, It's got to the point where I sort of hope Burton lose tonight as I see them as far less of a threat than Blackburn or Forest next season. Few results need to go against you now.

Re: DC, haven't heard it but from comments and the gist of it he's completely right. Need some positive indicators of progression off the pitch or he's off, and I think he's earned that right. He's been like this before at times though, so possibly more of a message than an ultimatum.

Do you reckon it was a 'pop' at Wael as it sounded like it? I thought it was a bit of a 'are you going to match my ambitions' sort of speech but there's obviously something not right?
On us, I reckon Brum might have to get something at ours on the final day so that could be a tougher game than you would think. Hopefully, we'll be safe by then and we can get our 'mind the gap' signs back out! ;)
By the way, some things never change, Holloway got dogs abuse today. :)

No idea mate to be honest. Obviously DC hasn't made a big money signing yet under Wael, so it is possible. If he isn't backed in the summer then it will become clearer, as we really need to get the cheque book out this summer if we are to progress.

Fair play GH but I disagee on Burton. They've turned into a decent side now and done better than anyone expected them to do. I reckon they thought of this season as a 'free hit' in that they didn't expect to survive. They'l do well if they do drop back down but they've given themselves a good chance of surviving.
I heard the DC interview and know he's an emotional guy so took that into account but it did sound like a possible 'back me or I maybe off' speech. You can't lose him, much as I would like you to.

Ah I've just listened to it, nothing particularly surprising there.

Doesn't want to stand still, understandably. To progress now, long term, we need the elephant in the room that is the new ground. Had a lot of drawings of the new ground for decades, but an actual ground would be lovely. The new training ground will be built now, but the new ground has always been the end goal.

If there's no movement on that front in the next 12 months, he'll go somewhere where his ambitions can be achieved. Don't blame him. The irony too is I think as it is there's a serious possibility with poor manager recruitment we could revert back to lower L2 or even a Conference side again if DC went, with the new ground I can't see that happening as it'll change the club completely.

Surely if DC left, Marcus the red would take over wouldn't he?

You may be right there. Just did a predictor and had you sending them down with a 2-0 win.

Not a pop at Wael but a reminder that if we are to progress then the budget needs to be increased. I actually thought it was a very positive interview and believe we will have a very interesting summer.
Over to you Wael.
