Now that statement could be read in one of two ways:

Tranmere will win title and not require promotion via play-offs
OR
Tranmere are so duff that they will not make play-offs?

With so many home games left at Prenton Park, Tranmere must now be considered title favourites.

Unfortunately despite us having one of the best home records in the league, home advantage does not always help especially given that most of our home support is either silent for the majority of the game or screaming abuse at our own players. Whether this will change in the remaining 7 home games of the season given the importance of said game is highly debateable.
