We must have them rattled if we are getting gratuitously twattish comments like this. Who has rattled this rusty cage? Let's keep it pleasant shall we Carver?
Carver is always this friendly. He likes you really.

You don't have to do anything special to get twattish comments off Carver, they come as standard.

I'd be more worried there was a disturbance in the force if Carver was being respectful towards the opposition.

He's quite angry isn't he!

Is he 15?

Oh I'm not angry, I'm just telling you that the state of your pitch is unacceptable as it is awful to play on and it causes matches to get called off again and again. That then hurts other clubs who actually look after their facilities properly, not like your shambles.

Starting line-up is as expected with Gillesphey and Grainger back in after missing out last league game through injury and suspension respectively, Ellis and Brisley making way despite their impressive performances.

Shaun Miller starts up front in place of Wyke, unsurprising that we continue to rotate our strikers, but I can't see Newport's pitch playing to Miller's strengths.

Must be one of the strongest benches in the division. I'm sure a lot of our opponents would love to have the likes of Wyke, Brisley, Devitt and Lambe in their starting line ups, not to mention Ellis who hasn't even made the bench.

Fucking hell, in the most predictable development of the day, Newport score an early goal. Get ready for ninety minutes of backs-against-the-wall lads.

Jesus fuvking Christ! I'm not worried about losing our unbeaten run, it was gonna happen eventually anyway. It's more about how quick we bounce back. We don't want to go on a long winless or even a losing run

Someone responsible will need to keep an eye on Carver tonight.

Predictable so far, glad it's only 1-0.

Curle is surely going to bring at least one sub on, being dominated and created very few chances.

Wyke and Lambe for Jabo and Miller.

I thought it sounded like Jabo was isolated first half so bit surprised it'll be Wyke up front alone.

We seem to be playing better, but no clear chances, I fear it is slipping away from us, just praying Jason Kennedy can bundle one in.

Now we get to see whether we are a really good team or not. If we are we should put this shambolic display behind us and bounce back next week.

But lose next week and we will go on a long poor run of form and results and will be down in midtable before so long.

Well done Newport. Like westley or not, he gets something out of players and it's why Newport will stay up.

I had Carlisle to win 2-1 in the League 2 prediction league so thanks for that

The frustrating thing is that we've been outplayed and but for a bit of luck, because all the best chances fell Newport's way, we've avoided being on the end of a thrashing, should have been 4-0 to Newport.

For the first time in the season we've been beaten, and failed to score.

Though I had my worries about this game I kind of feared it being one of those games where things just don't go our way, like the home game against Cheltenham. Instead we've been played off the park by Newport and just had no ideas for how to deal with them.

The game was a write-off before a ball was even kicked. This was always gunna be where the run ended, I can't believe anyone thought otherwise?

We had lost the previous four against them, Westley and that c*** Maamria, shit pitch, early KO the other side of the country etc etc.

Newport were a steal at 3/1.

Onto the next and back to winning ways....

Said I wasn't confident about this one, Westley has improved Newport and they'll probably survive. We weren't up to it today and deservedly lost, I'm sure they'll be stronger next week against Exeter,

We should be, but I have my doubts. I've always had this feeling that this team will buckle once it loses a game and a blip will turn into quite a poor run of results.

I hope I'm wrong of course.

Wezzer has worked his magic. Five games unbeaten and, like some of the Carlisle fans I am not surprised.

He'll keep us up (unless we are relegated for having a sub-standard pitch )

I was tempted by that last night, but I honestly thought we'd scrape something from this game the way we've been picking up results of late

Good entertaining game. Comfortable win in the end. Plenty of energy from us and played some great football. Day didn't have to make a save of any consequence.
Curle got caught up in the hype about the pitch as first half Carlisle were dire, just pumping it long to Ibehre who got bossed by Jones and Bennett. Cant believe you've played like that and remained unbeaten. Looked more of a threat second half but didn't create anything clear cut.
Our 2nd was a classic counter and taken well by Healey who was immense today. Getting better by the game under Mr Westley.
Even Myrie looked half decent today such was the shitness of Carlisle.

Cause we've obviously played that badly all season....

Sounds like our worst performance of the season.

Because obviously we haven't played like that until today.
