Good win for us against Hartlepool, despite their position in the table, I thought we'd struggle to get a result today, particularly when I saw the line up, so pleasantly surprised with the win.

Great to see Ben Kennedy get a couple of goals, has been doing well for the youth team so very pleased to see him replicated the same sort of form in the first team.

Still think we'll fall short of the play-offs come May but nice to return to winning ways after 4 games without a win.

Seems like I'm talking to myself in here! Great win yesterday, fantastic end to the game for us too. There wasn't a great deal in it, in reality the game could have gone either way, although once we pulled it back to 2-2 you could sense all the momentum was with us and it showed with us ultimately running our 4-2 winners.

I've criticised Westley a lot in the last season or two so it's only right to give him credit when it's due, his substitutions changed the game, Kennedy in particular was superb, he won our penalty, scored our third and laid on the fourth.

Our run of matches in the next month or so will ultimately dictate whether we'll be serious contenders for a play-off spot. In our next seven we have to play Wycombe, Plymouth, Newport and Burton with trips to Cambridge and Exeter thrown in too, very difficult set of games.

Pretty nervous. Win today and it's all guns blazing for me! If we draw or lose we will need to win at Plymouth which will not be easy.

Right. Looking at the table you'd say there was 1 place up for grabs and 4 teams competing for it. We all play each other on Saturday. This, is gonna be interesting.

Our run in is:

Plymouth (A)
Tranmere (H)
Carlisle (H)
Bury (A)
Luton (H)
Wimbledon (A)
Cambridge (H)
Stevenage (A)
Oxford (A)
Cheltenham (H)
Burton (A)
Wycombe (H)

If we get 7/9 from the next 3, Bury turns into a massive game. Stevenage is also another that looks like a big game so close to the end of the season.

Think we play Wycombe at home on the last day of the season.

Big set of matches this weekend, if all the sides currently in the hunt are still in with a shot on the last day, it promises to be interesting - Wycombe/Northampton, Luton/Stevenage and Shrewsbury/Plymouth.

Looking at that, I would tentatively suggest that Cobblers have left themselves with too much to do with a mixed fixture list including some tough trips - the Stevenage game on Saturday is absolutely pivotal. Win and they have a chance, anything else and they are out.

Exeter have the toughest fixtures on paper but are in the best form.

We have a mixed bag, and obviously until today were in horrendous form so it depends if today marks a change of fortune or just a temporary respite against a terrible team. Burton on Saturday will be tough, I'd take a point for sure just to build a bit of positive momentum. It would be nice to go into the last game of the season vs Stevenage with some meaning behind it.

Plymouth, Newport and Stevenage all have fairly nice run-ins on paper - two from those three would be my guess as it stands but very, very hard to call. Plymouth's goal difference could be big, miles better than all the other contenders.

Whilst our run-in is on the whole relatively kind (on paper at least), our next two games are tough - I feel as though we are going to need to win one of them, just to keep us in the mix.

Stevenage have got themselves into a good position, for the first time I'm starting to fancy them for one of the places. It really is very tight though!

every team seems to have a blip,
I hope ours is over so here's a tip
a play off place will be our reward,
leaving the run late to stop us getting bored
mark my words you heard it here first,
Luton are gonna finish on a winning burst
the confidence is returning and the goals will come,
Luton, god willing, will get to league one
LOL (Love Our Luton)

I think Plymouth will take 1 spot looking at those fixtures the other spot is for Luton, Stevenage and Newport to fight out. Hope it comes down to the last game Luton v Stevenage Massive.

Doubtful Exeter will make the playoffs with those remaining fixtures, plus their current run has been against winnable opposition including Luton on a nightmare loss of form!

Considering their prospects pre and early season if Exeter were to make the play offs it would be a staggering achievement.

Our season has been one of great change, we started in a difficult position but will finish strongly and with greater financial stability. £1.75m for Matt Grimes being the difference.

Our youth setup is incredible...
