43rd - Claudio Caniggia
Caniggia spent most of his Serie A time at Atalanta in two spells at the beginning and end of the 1990's with a brief spell at Roma between 1992 and 1994 that was hampered by a ban from the sport for taking cocaine. Absolute lad.
Maradona's playmate at Napoli was part of one of the most fearsome attacks ever to grace the top flight of Italian football, or any top flight for that matter.
41st - Alen Boksic
Boksic spent most of his time in Serie A during two spells at Lazio with a title winning season at Juventus sandwiched inbetween and scoring 31 times in 115 appearances.
Skuhravy spent 5 years at Genoa from 1990 to 1995 scoring 59 goals in Serie A and sporting an unrivalled mullet.

Simone Inzaghi
The least successful of the Inzaghi brothers nevertheless Simone scored 22 goals in 52 Serie A appearances between 1998 and 2000 for Piacenza and Lazio.
Edmundo had a short spell at Fiorentina from 1998 to 1999 and scored 12 goals in 37 Serie A appearances. With Fiorentina challenging for the title he decided to go AWOL and attend the Rio Carnival and was promptly shown the door at the end of the season. Although there is was no doubting his talent he was a certified mentalist.

Uruguayan Fonseca spent all of the 90's in Serie A with spells at Cagliari, Napoli, Roma and Juventus winning his only scudetto in 1997/98 and scoring 78 goals in his 213 appearances.

Baiano reperesented Foggia and Fiorentina in Serie A from 1991 to 1997 and was top assist provider in Serie A in the 1992/93 season.

Casiraghi played for Juventus and Lazio from 1990 to 1998 scoring 57 times in 215 games in that time.

Klinsmann jointed Inter in 1989 and hit the net 34 times in 95 appearances for them until 1992. He returned to Serie A with Sampdoria in 1997 scoring twice before leaving in January 1998.

Balbo joined Udinese from River Plate in 1989 and went on to score 66 goals for them before joining Roma and also spending time at Parma and Fiorentina during the 90's and scoring 151 goals in 324 games during his time in Serie A.
Maradona scored 6 goals in 18 Serie A matches for Napoli in the 1990/91 season. Safe to say he had a very underwhelming spell in Serie A in the 90's.

Oliver Bierhoff
Bierhoff joined Ascoli in 1991 and managed 2 goals in his 17 appearances as they were relegated to Serie B. After impressing in the second tier Udinese took a chance on him in 1995 and it paid off as he put 57 goals away in just 86 games including winning the Serie A top scorer award in 1997/98. Milan promptly signed him and in his first season at the San Siro he scored 19 league goals to help them to the title. The next season he went on to score a further 11 league goals bringing his 1990's Serie A tally to 89 goals in 167 appearances.
Shevchenko joined Milan in 1999 from Dynamo Kiev and scored 24 goals in his first season (and only one in the 90's) in Serie A. He went on to hit the net 127 times for Milan in the league.

Roberto Mancini
Before he became a successful manager Mancini was pretty handy in front of goal as a player. He started his career in 1981 with Bologna and joined Sampdoria the following season where he played for the remainder of the 80's. From 1990 to 1997 he scored 80 times in 209 games and winning his first scudetto in 1990/91 before joining Lazio where he scored 15 in 87 and won his second scudetto in 1999/2000.

Chilean legend Zamorano signed for Inter in 1996 and went on to score 26 times in 101 appearances.
Salas joined Lazio in 1998 and scored 27 goals in 58 appearances in his first couple of seasons in Serie A winning the first of his eventual three scudettos in the 1999/2000 season.

Weah joined Milan from PSG in 1995 and went on to win two scudettos scoring 46 goals in 114 games before leaving in 2000.
Signori played his first season in Serie A with Foggia in 1991/92 after helping them win promotion the previous season. In his first season he scored 11 times and caught the eye of Lazio who brought him to the Stadio Olimpico in 1992 where he won the Serie A top scorer award three times hitting the net 107 times in his 152 Serie A appearances for the club before being sold to Sampdoria in 1998. Afer an unsuccesful six months with Sampdoria in which he only scored 3 times he transferred to Bologna and was quickly scoring on a regular basis again with 30 goals in 59 games from 1998 to 2000.
13th - 250 points on 7 lists Gianluca Vialli
Vialli was already a well established striker in Serie A by the time the 90's began. From 1990 to 1992 he was with Sampdoria where he scored 20 times in 57 games before signing for Juventus where he scored 38 goals until signing for Chelsea in 1996.
Vieri started his professional career with Torino in 1991 and scored once in 7 appearances up until the middle of the 1992/93 season. Unable to break into the Torino squad on a regular basis he dropped down to Serie B. After a couple of successful years he returned to Serie A in 1995 with Atalanta scoring 7 times in 18 games before moving on to Juventus and scoring a further 8 goals the following season. He left Italy in 1997 for Atletico Madrid but swiftly returned after just one season to join Lazio. In the 1998/99 season he scored 12 times in 22 games before leaving Lazio for Inter where he scored a further 13 goals in 20 games. He was quite prolific post 2000 too, but we're not here to talk about that so I won't.

Marco van Basten
From 1990 until 1993 van Basten scored 49 times in 77 games for Milan and won two scudettos before his career was cut short by injury.
Montella made his Serie A debut for Sampdoria in 1996 after joining from cross city rivals Genoa where he had enjoyed a successful spell in Serie B. He went on to score 54 goals in three seasons there before transferring to Roma where he scored 18 goals in his debut (and last of the 90's) season.

Francesco Totti
Totti spent his entire career at Roma scoring 250 times in 619 league games for the club, 43 of them during the 90's.
Hernán Jorge Crespo was born just outside Buenos Aires in 1975. He made his professional debut at the age of 18 for local giants River Plate and went on to have an impressive debut season. He made his international debut for Argentina aged 19 and by 1996 had caught the attention of several European clubs. In the summer of 1996 he joined Parma in Serie A and after a slow start quickly became a club legend winning the Coppa Italia and UEFA Cup before Lazio paid a then world record £35million for his services in 2000.
