Wasn't Durrell a midfielder? and No offence to Alty but scoring 15 for them in the conference is an achievement, prehaps in a top 5 side he would have got 20+ There has been others who have failed though like someone who's name I forget that Darlo signed I believe?

Still agree its a risk he won't make the step up, but then every signing is a risk, look at Hearn who was injured for 2 years of his 3 year contract. But then risks also pay off like Vardy, Hearn for one season and others.

Edit: James Walshaw is the Darlo player I was thinking off.

Atracking midfielder/ Forward, 58 goals in 95 games for Hednesford.

From what I've seen of Bogle he's got the attributes to do well in the conference. I expect him to do ok. John Lewis was hardly the most skillfull player in the world and he thrived last season so why not.

Hednesford weren't in that league all that time though were they? Or am I mistaken?

Either way nobody will know how Bogle will fair in this league until at least January, or our whole side for that matter. But the confidence and good feeling is only a good thing imo.

Absolutely. I do think you've got the best strike force you've had for a few seasons, Amond was a very good signing.

They've had a cracking pre-season so far. 8 wins out of 8, beating the likes of Derby, Huddersfield, Peterborough and Notts County.

I've been impressed by the front-line of Arnold, Amond and Pitman. Scoring for fun.
