If Luton have a thread why can't we? Just because, on past form, this won't happen until 2050 doesn't mean we shouldn't have a thread

I hope by 2050 safe standing will be allowed and we can have a proper Pontoon stand again...

And this is in Gy and not Cleethorpes. Bad news is it's slightly further away from the fish and chip shops that serve fresh fried superb haddock that hangs off both side of the plate...

Won't happen for at least 3 years. No sites have even been accepted, nothing has changed ffs.

If it happens prior to 2050, its still less time than what Luton have had to wait. We've been trying since 1955!

This Gy thing is getting on my tits, what's wrong with Grimsby or GTFC? I can't help but think of the word gay whenever I see it. Don't get me wrong, I'm a leftie so I get along just fine with gays and I'm certainly not a homophobe.

Having written countless stories about this for the Telewag (thank God I don't have do that anymore), I concur that this will probably never happen.

I actually feel a bit sorry for Fenty. Peaks Parkway is far from perfect but it's do-able, while no other site is really viable. DeFreitas will never let him get his way.

Just because you haven't a trawler named after your club - tinpot - even Lincoln have one...

Good to see that from now on we shall call ourselves GY on this forum.

Perhaps all clubs should name themselves simply by the first and last letters of the placename.

Will cause confusion though for ourselves, you and Crewe

GY has been a thing for as long as I can remember.

There are times, and I don't know the history there so I'm not commenting on that specifically, when you can understand why a manager would love to lay into moaning fans in that way.

We had just played Darlington and lost either 2 - 1 or 2 - 0 but had absolutely battered them and their keeper was incredible, and some guy was moaning and that was the result!
Before that bit Rob Scott was saying to him 'did you watch the fucking game' and the rant whilst unprofessional was indeed fully justified in my opinion and a lot of fans warmed to him more after that outburst.
