I was hoping the Imps, together with Tranmere (or any other ex league side) go up this year, but I'm having second thoughts now. I mean here you are,feeling all bullish only because you're top of the connie for the first time ever in 7 years, after years and years of mid-table anonymity. And there's still a long way to go

So what if they lost their game at one of L2's stronger sides who are currently unbeaten at home? They don't have quality players like Nathan 'headless chicken' delivering pinpoint crosses for sick note Adam Marriott and fatty Matty, otherwise they would've stood a chance of getting something out of the game.

Don't know what Lincoln doing well has got to do with my post Vinny, surely I'd be more inclined to "wind up" Grimsby fans if I had the hump with Lincoln doing poorly.

But anyway my post was clearly not intended to be a wind up, I was highlighting the treatment Bignot is starting to get, I provided evidence of this from their site that's "full of mongs" and all I can see here is people burying their heads in the sand.

Funny you point out those 3 players in particular Vinny, nathan headloss chicken into double figures for the season from the wing including one Saturday, sick note Marriott popped up with the winner on saturday (dedicating the goal to our brilliant physio of course) and fatty matty is on course for 20 goals again. Encouraging stuff.

Ahem, I think you'll find this is our SECOND time at the top this season, ironically enough when we beat Tranmere back in September. Give us some credit!

Why are you quoting the Fishy on here? Why don't you make this post on there? The posters over there are completely different to us on here. I don't think anyone on here was 'chuffed' to see Hurst go and I guarantee no one on here wants Bignot to go already.
