Yes, we still haven't let it go.

We always lose to Cheltenham. I'd love to win after last season. Both teams are in decent form. 1-0 Cheltenham for me.

Wright is suspended isn't he?

Yes Wright is suspended, gutted we won't get to hear the boos for him. We do seem to have Grimsby's number at the moment although I would take a point as we're away. Seems like you may be playing without a manager if the Hurst to Shrewsbury rumours are to be believed?

1-1, Waters for us.

Last week our shape with 4-2-3-1 was the best I've seen this season - Berrett did well in the hole behind Bogle and Jackson and had free roles with Comley and Summerfield very solid behind them - more of the same I hope...

Sounded like a similar home story today, give away a silly goal and have no clue in the final third

It's always frustrating losing to a team full of filthy cheating arseholes but it doesn't help that we were crap. Summed it up when they celebrated towards the home end like they'd won the league. The worst thing was how the ref didn't buy Pell's diving and warned him, just to then let him get away with it numerous times afterwards. All of this without Danny Wright

Fair play to them though they succeeded in getting under our skin but I do hope they end up going down. I don't think they will and I don't have anything against them as a club but nobody wants to sit and watch that. I'd be very disappointed if that was ever us.

Is there a bit of history between Grimsby and Cheltenham? I can't remember anything notable happening.

The Fishy is making for some very entertaining reading this evening.

Don't care how we played, don't care if you think we're diving cheating arseholes; three points is three points.

For what it's worth I thought you played well and were good value for all 3 points so it's a shame to see what could've been a good game of football ruined like that.

Think Grimsby are making it up to be honest. When you're as good and as dominant as Cheltenham are in this league you don't need to resort to Wymcombe-esque tactics to succeed.

I remember Cheltenham beat them in the playoff final a decade or so ago. Not sure if that caused any ill feeling.

Pretty sure Vanni is taking the piss there. There was an incident last season. We've all moved on. It's absolutely fine. No need to go into it. It's fine.

Strangely enough everything was fine after then, met some Grimsby fans afterwards and they were brilliant.

The Stampiones thing comes from Danny Wright stepping (you can't really call it a stamp) on their keeper's backside after we went 2-1 up in our game in April and then going on to take the piss out of it. For some reason, we seem to be very "professional" against Grimsby (I wasn't there yesterday, but the radio commentators mentioned it more than once), which is something I usually criticise the team of not being able to do.

Pleasantly surprised by the win yesterday and we appear to be going in the right direction now.

It may sound a bit odd but I simply couldn't recall that particular incident until I read Si Robin's post and saw Danny Wright's name. I remember saying at the time that I thought he did it on purpose. What was never in doubt though was his lack of class with the twitter thing.
