With turning 60 next month I have the advantage of free travel in London after 9:30 am so Leyton Orient is a must providing it's not on a weeknight when I work.

Northampton and Colchester look stupidly cheap via split tickets. Looking at further afield, could I get a Barra medal? Done Crawley and Stevenage, not keen on visiting either again.

Carlisle is possibly my favourite away day, always a good trip up there so I will definitely go there if it's a Saturday. Barrow, Sutton, Harrogate and Wimbledon are new grounds I will definitely try to get to. Also looking forward to some of the local games Stockport, Tranmere, Walsall and potentially Vale and Wrexham as they should all be a good atmosphere I'd think. I think il swerve Swindon, Gillingham and Northampton as I've done them a million times.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
I only get a couple of games now since moving to Manchester but Stockport, Rochdale and Crewe will be hopefuls if fixture list hits the right days.

Would be handy Halifax coming up I don’t see it though.

Going to the likes of Carlisle, Hartlepool and Barrow down here in most peoples eyes is medal worthy  So I think you should give them all a go.

I always say once you've been to one ground in double figures you deserve a medal myself ;)

Considering the amount of times we played Crewe in the 80’s & 90’s,for some strange reason I’ve never managed to get there, so will have to make the effort this season.
I always do at least one southern game & Gillingham is one of the few I haven’t done, but other fans reckon it’s a crap away day & the place is a dump.
Is that true?

I’m looking forward to visiting Plough Lane the most next season

I doubt that I'll get a ticket for the return fixture, it'll probably be ST holders only on a first come, first served basis.

I am on Sutton's database as I bought a ticket for the Oldham match but too many Sutton supporters know me so no ticket in the home end.

I’m sure they’ll be a Sutton fan or two who would happily try and get you a ticket for the game at GGL.

The game at Plough Lane should be interesting for Sutton fans to get a ticket for. Haven’t you been allocating 1000 for away fans? Given the lack of distance between the clubs I think we would actually sell-out our allocation for Wimbledon away.

i really enjoy carlisle and recently barrow.

If we stop down will do barrow for the weekend again, it’s quality.

i don’t do games south of birmingham/northampton unless it’s for a big game (eg next week) but they’re really decent games.

Bradford is enjoyable also if you stop over.

If you come up I’d look forward to a trip to
Your place. Mainly to see clough and some of our ex players. That and it’s not far away too.

You guys have got it made up there, we could only ever DREAM of having a toilet roll factory down here.

Don’t know you’re born.

Aye, think of Barra when you wipe your arse next! :pmsl:

If we stay down hopefully Notts come up as a trip to Meadow Lane is always good fun. Other than that Northampton would be my shortest away trip. Other one on the list would be Orient, enjoyed it there this season and the pie and mash they serve is great even if the woman behind the counter looked like she wanted to punch me when I asked if they had gravy rather than that green shit they put on it.

Prior to this season I’ve had a few good away days to Orient. However, the performance/result there for us on Halloween this year has put me off for life.

Stockport, Wimbledon and if they come up, Wrexham will be the main ones for me. Would try and get down to Sutton as well.

Got out of the habit of away games over the last dozen years - only been to the cup ties at Old Trafford and Wembley.

Never been to Barrow, Colchester, Crawley, Harrogate, Newport, Solihull*, Stevenage, Swindon, Sutton and Tranmere.

Never been and don't particularly want to go to Salford.

Not been to the current grounds of Chesterfield*, Doncaster, Northampton, Wimbledon.

Problem is, I used to work Saturdays and got out of the habit of away matches, and now tend to do other stuff on Saturdays.

Harrogate, Tranmere and Barrow are the priorities, I suppose, but as I've probably missed 30 trips to Prenton Park in the last 40 years...

Easier to list the grounds I’ve done;
Bradford Carlisle Crewe Doncaster Grimsby Hartlepool Leyton Orient Mansfield Rochdale Stevenage Stockport Walsall.

Usually drag my mates living in Herts to one SE game, got to be able to get 3 tickets, so sides with decent away capacity. Crawley or Gillingham perhaps. Probably get to at least one other away game.

You sound a bit like me - I was up to about 76/92 at one point, but I've only ticked off one new ground in the past seven years and will be down to 68/92 at the start of the new season. I haven't even bothered going away anywhere since a trip to Cheltenham in 2017.

Having previously been to both Grimsby and Solihull, the grounds I won't have been to in this league next season are AFC Wimbledon, Barrow, Harrogate, Rochdale, Salford and Sutton. Might do Wimbledon and Sutton potentially, but doubt I will bother travelling to the others.

Depends on how much it costs me for entry and rail tickets. I've yet to find out whether split tickets work with a senior railcard. And whether it's on a Saturday as I work weeknights.

I love my football, but on a limited budget, I'm not going to pay through the nose.

I used to go to the old Plough Lane a few times a season and I did the same at Selhurst. I did numerous home and away matches as we worked our way up from the depths of non-league but they were all relatively local. Travel is so horrendously expensive now and my retail income can only go so far.

I'd like to tick off Cleethorpes Grimsby though.

Although it's my intention to visit all again next season, I need to tick off Donny, Stockport and the new Wimbledon to complete the curent set...
