DC (or Trigger to the Poolies) shook the team up today with five changes, dropping some of our more well known and respected players and so far it's worked, from the radio it sounds very much one way traffic, I feel we may end up regretting missing a couple of chances because surely Hartlepool will step it up in the second half.

Get in there. 2-0!

We need this badly. Lets not forget that not only 4 years ago (roughly) we were 2-0 down to pools and drew from 89th and 91st minute goals.. So im trying not to get too ahead of myself

Not over yet, but would be a much, much needed 3 points if we can see it out.

I've long said we're better than 17th, but DC has been brave and made some big calls tonight and so far it has paid off.

Saying this we'll probably draw/lose now.

Incredible score. Hopefully we can kick off from here.

Credit to the 190 fans who travelled too, sounds like they made some good noise too

We've played an awful lot of the early pace setters and favoured clubs, i'm not sure if we're going to be up there but I've always maintained we are a better team than the form and league position has shown. Hopefully we can string a couple together now.

We're a midtable team. With 2 signings in the right places, we could definitely be in the play offs. Tbh I'm just happy for survival this season

Get in there Gas, superb result! Think this was just what we needed to get us up and running again.

Darrell was brave with his team selection and it has paid off handsomely. I love the fact Linesy and Parkes know they are not undroppable and I fancy it will drive them on instead of send them into a sulk, and that can only be a good thing.

Bring on Morecambe.

I was surprised that lines didn't start, but what the fuck do I know about it. Great result and by all accounts a brilliant performance. In clarke we trust.

My god we were bad.Rovers were too quick for us all over the pitch & to be fair should have scored more.
Moore needs to take a leaf out of Triggers book & drop some of his favourites.Absolute shyte.
Our boards are pretty much in meltdown at the moment.
To make matters worse 9 of us booked up to go to Mansfield before the game, must be mad.

We were utterly woeful last night and the players deserved the pelters they got at half and full time. Shades of last year's debacle.

RM wasn't too happy either and there will be changes for the Luton game.

He has to take some of the blame though. We are really poor in midfield and as for the defence, oh dear.

433 isn't working but with the midfield we have 442 won't work either. No wingers!

We actually do miss Rakish upfront. His movement is good and he works well at times with Paynter. If only he had a finish on him.

I think we'll avoid relegation but the current position of 17th might be the highest of our ambitions this season.

He still persisits with 2 midfielders Bates & Featherstone who were instrumental in nearly relegating us last season.

If Rovers fans only think they are a mid-table side, then I fear what the top teams will do to us this season. A tactically inept manager who has been well and truly out thought by his much younger opposition.

Interested to hear the views of Rovers fans on Sinclair - best player I have seen from a League 2 team this season. I would expect he will run the show in a lot of games in midfield.

Ronnie persisted with 4-3-3 when it was clear from the first minute we would be overran in midfield. Seriously missed Bingham/Woods/Magnay on Tuesday. Hopefully all are back in the starting line up on Saturday and we see a much improved performance.

Sincs is a fantastic player, lots of effort. Sometimes his technical side lets him down, but when he's on his game he's brilliant.

I think we're a mid-table side personally, having played a few of the top sides recently. Don't think we're nearly as bad as the side that got relegated, so its a case of where in mid-table we end up. At the moment I'd say the top end of mid-table probably, but its hard to tell until we play a few of the sides around us and at the bottom. Last season we picked up dramatically around this time of the year, not so easy in this league though.

Strange with 'Pool. I thought you'd turned a corner under Moore last season and this, so I was surprised with Tuesday's result. I am sure you'll bounce back.

Almost everybody's favourite player. Not only does he work tirelessly and do a tremendous job in the middle of the park, but he is such a top bloke as well - down to earth and just excited to be a professional footballer. You can't help but love him.

Sincs, for his effort alone, is noted as one of our best performers every single week, but he is a very talented player as well and that often goes unnoticed.

It definitely wasn't unnoticed on Tuesday. It was clear after 5 minutes he was a step above anything in our midfield. There was so much more urgency in everything you did, and Sinclair was the catalyst for this. I certainly wouldn't question his technical ability neither. Maybe he just had a really good game, but his passing was on point every time.

It's not often I enjoy watching opposition players playing so well against Pools, obviously, but after going 1-0 down we were never getting back into it, so I allowed myself to enjoy his performance. The same happened with Josh Windass for Accrington last year possibly, and before that it was a certain Adam Lallana who I enjoyed watching.

Certainly the best team we have faced (at home) so far this season. I would expect you to do better than you are predicting that's for sure.

Oh and - we certainly turned some sort of a corner, just not as big of a corner as we had hoped. The team was THAT bad last season, we could've easily chopped the lot and brought in a fresh squad. Ronnie bought well over the summer, however (probably due to funding) we haven't strengthened over the whole pitch.

Having our 3 probably best players not involved in the starting line up on Tuesday certainly didn't help, and shows our lack of strength in depth. Bingham was the biggest miss, without him our forward line is slooooooowwww.

Ronnie is not The Messiah that some of our fans would have you believe, and I think people are starting to realise this. His tactics/substitutions have always baffled, but, he kept us up. Don't get me wrong, I think there is enough in our squad to be relatively comfortable come May, but we will not be consistent enough to challenge for the top half of the table.
