(wonder if Saunders had been told to take him out by Ainsworth near the end).
That was a disgraceful tackle. He had no other intention. Fellow pro doing that to another - on a par with hitting someone from behind.

If that was playing well, as Still said, I'm glad I don't have to go any more.
Strange comment. In a higher division, a horror run with injuries and poor refereeing decisions.
Anything other than relegation is "progression", albeit in the loosest possible terms, surely?
Small steps - don't want to go up too quickly and then go backwards. We can't become this yo-yo club again.

The Wednesday
Cracking first half and the ability of Sam Saunders looked to be the main difference, like the look of Elliot Lee from Luton but christ that McNulty fella for the 3rd goal, he jumped like Steve Evans, no wonder he was nowhere near the ball.

Yeah, that was a red IMO. Hacked at him once, missed, chased after him and made a very nasty tackle from behind. I'm not sure what the definition of serious foul play and violent conduct are, if they don't cover that.

Wasn't a results oriented comment. The Manager said we played well, I thought we looked closer to headless chickens. Barely a decent move. If that's playing well......................

Belize believe me, that was playing well! At least in an attacking sense, defensively not so much.

The football this year has been very poor to watch, that was honestly as threatening as we have looked for a large portion of the season. Very often we have been a heck of a lot worse than that.

It was just your play in the final third which let you down yesterday. You had a lot of pressure in the second half but didn't test the Wycombe keeper much.

Luton fans never happy so take most comments with a pinch of salt. End of Nov when we was top, still had people moaning. We have more idiots than anyone, even Mansfield!!

Speaking as one of the idiots Chippy, even in Nov when we 'was' top we were playing dross football, and some of us said so at the time. Now other teams have seen our weaknesses and are playing on them, we are getting our just desserts.
I would be delighted if we reached the play-offs, even more so if we go up, but realistically we haven't played well or positively enough to deserve it. Shame really as this division really was there for the taking.

I can take a loss. A bad performance. Even a relegation (or ten). But please try and play football. Pass and move. Get your head up and look around. Pick a pass and keep it on the deck more often than not. I watched several games last season and we did that. So we have injuries in key spots, but isn't the whole idea of our massive squad that the development and second string play in the same style, just not quite as well, so they slot in and we can still play a bit. Clearly not.

I didn't think last night was that bad in terms of hoofing vs passing. It's certainly been worse, even when we were winning it was worse than last night at times, so that's why I think Still has said he has seen improvement and that we played well because it definitely has got better.

To be honest the issue is now a bit old hat in my opinion considering the primary issue at the moment is conceding silly goals. I think we should be worrying about that first and then building a more stylish attack as its the defensive formula that got is a shot at the playoffs in the first place.

That spiteful little twat Saunders has put Elliot Lee out with injury now. Typical, the only bright spot of the last few games and he joins our ridiculous injury list.

Yeah that's a real kick in the balls while we are down. Completely unnecessary challenge as well.

Very frustrating, has happened time and again this year where a key player has struck a bit of form then gone down with an injury.

I think I've come to terms with the fact it's just not our year.

This is League 2.

1) we played a LOT more pass and move in the Conference - look back at the youtube clips.
2) plenty of other teams in this division manage to play decent football- we are definitely in the minority. I still believe that the majority of our players would prefer to be playing more proper football.

So what if it's L2. It's supposed to be professional football. The cream of the country. Top 1%.
