Have you ever sat in the home end for an away match?

about 7 years ago my mate said he sat in the home end as we got beaten 4-1 away at Blackburn so i was just wondering if anyone here has ever sat in the home end for an away match or even sat in the away end for a home match?

Wolves in our first season in the Championship? Could of been our second. Managed to control ourselves untill we realised Liam Fontaine had scored and we just started laughing. Received a few dodgy looks ( Wasn't long after Gary Johnson said he'd bare his backside in Burton's window if he'd ever scored) On the way out walking towards the away end it was mayhem, kicked right off.

This season, for the MK Dons match. I have family over there, so i sat with them.

You may not have found that entertaining, but James Milner did. :)

Used to sit in the Burnley or Preston home ends many years ago as was able to get free tickets.

Remember playing Man Utd at home 4 years ago, a few Chinese Utd fans offered to buy my and other peoples tickets for £100. Some of them succeeded and after they scored they got thrown out after 5 minutes...

I sat in the home end at Sheffield Wednesday last season for the Wigan match. Only because Wednesday had a promotion on so it was a tenner a ticket all over the ground, except the away end which was £28! Not a chance I was paying that, so I went in the North Stand.

I take it as a sign I probably shouldnt do it again, since it was the first and still only game Ive ever been to in 16 years that was abandoned...

Only at Southend about 20 years ago and Wolves around the same time.

Was a bit intimidating actually - I was quite young and we lost on both occasions!

Sat in the away end for a home match. Had a friend who's a doncaster fan so sat with him and 200 doncaster fans. We won 3-0, I was obviously a dons fan but had no issues.

I have sat in the 'wrong' end twice and we have lost both times. I sat in the home end at the Ricoh Arena this season with a Coventry supporting friend when we lost 2-1 and a few seasons ago, I went in the away end at Stadium:MK with a Brentford supporting friend when we lost 1-2. I celebrated our goals both times, in fact I went absolutely mental when we scored against Brentford and the stewards just looked at me bemused.

Went to St Andrews and sat with a Blues supporting friend in the home end. Derby then proceeded to score 4. That was a tester in restraint!! Mate then refused to speak to me on the train journey home.

Sat in the home end at Man City when I couldn't get a ticket for our FA Cup Quarter-Final a few years ago, luckily they didn't have a chance to hear my southern accent.

Sat amongst the QPR faithful once or twice when I couldn't get a ticket for the away end.

One of mates had to sit in the Man City end.He left it too late to get a ticket in our end.He wasn't best pleased having to do the Poznan when they scored.

That was the biggest joke ever that game, club only requested 2500 tickets for a FA Cup Quarter final... We could have sold twice that given the demand easily.

Peterborough away last season. Won 1-0 but it was a penalty so was quite prepared for it. Never again.

Charlton this season. Old uni mate is a season ticket holder and got me in cheap somehow. Promised me he wouldn't say anything but after a few pints beforehand, he went around introducing me to everyone as a Wolves fan while we are in the ground. ffs. Never again.

Yeah. Most recent was a while ago though and a bit grim really. Sheffield United the year they got promoted. It was their big party and even though we drew 1-1 in a dead rubber, having to blend in with the greasy chip butty parade wasn't ideal. Don't really know why we went to be honest!

I definitely did it against my better judgement. Part of the experience is cheering and the adrenaline from scoring. If you can't celebrate it's a bit weird.

On three occasions.

First time was at Brightons old ground when I was at uni there. There was no way I was going in that horrible uncovered away end miles away from the pitch on a cold winters day so I got a ticket for the home end. We walloped them 4-1 and I just sat there quietly looking very smug.

Second time was at Yeovil because I had no chance of getting an away ticket. Lost 2-1, shite day.

Third time was at Southampton. A mate of mine was friends with a club employee there and we got free tickets. Lost 2-0 and we played utter shite but luckily the ground was sparsley populated so we didnt have too many home fans around us.

I went in the home end at Barnet's Underhill for an FA Cup game about ten years ago as we had comps for the main stand, otherwise I haven't. I was ballboy in front of the away end at Layer Road once which was a bit weird though, especially with the crowd so close to the pitch there as it felt like I was basically in with the Bournemouth fans.
