It’s ok I have it on good authority Bolton are going bust this summer.
Really........why come out with a statement like that
I have it on good authority that a wealthy person was appointed on to the board last week...............the same week our chairwoman was pictured outside the ground after a meeting with two Billionaires

Can’t remember ever playing Cambridge in my lifetime.

Edit: Just checked, I was 3 the last time we played one another.

What sort of away ticket allocation can we expect? (assuming we’ll be able to do away days etc).
2000-2500. You will get the seating behind the goal and terraces down the side. I assume you'll sell that out. I'm really looking forward to Charlton away.

Yeah, that’ll sell out no trouble. Not far and a new ground for many. Thought it would have been less than that but I will get a ticket easily.

I’m biased obviously, but I love the Valley. I expect you’ll bring a good following also.

Firstly, congratulations Cambridge.

And when you say not far, the away seats are miles from the pitch.:)

The valley will be a new one for all of us too so I’d say 1500-2000. We usually take that to Orient so could be more.

I went to both games in 91/92 and the game at ours in 92/93. The win at Upton Park (the Valley was being redone) in 91 is one of the best performances I’ve seen us put in. But it had largely been downhill from that point until seven years ago.

The seated stand behind the goal holds about 1,500 and that’s always allocated to away fans. As has been inferred, it’s about 20 yards from the pitch so not great but the lowest seat is about 10 ft up so it’s not an awful view.

The terraced stand along the side is split in two, the north half is always allocated to home fans while the south half has been unused, full of home fans or full of away fans at various points. I expect it to be allocated to away fans for Charlton’s visit as it was for Portsmouth, Lincoln and Luton in League 2. But for balance it was allocated to home fans for our cup games against Luton and Man Utd so it really depends on how our home followings are doing. Anyway each half of the terraced stand holds 1,200 so potential for 2,700 max.

Looking forward to visiting a few grounds, valley, Portman rd etc but gutted the pish went up, it’s been far to long since we last played them.

A lot of good posters in there. FGR Stroud posting the weekend fixture threads early with head to head info, odds and results from previous games. It gets the content going.

I noticed in here no-one posted anything about the weekends games until Thursday. So who is going to take that role on next season?
I’ll start voting going and I’ll vote for you.

As Yeo says, we got given the side of the pitch when we were there a couple of seasons ago and sold out 2,300ish.

x2.

I'll be expecting the whole match by match preview, form breakdown, betting odds, yellow and red card counts, the lot.

Well you can have up to around 3200 so plenty of room.

Thanks for the info. My loyalty points will easily have me within the top 1000 so good to know getting a ticket won’t be an issue.

The last time we played Lincoln he was told to stay away for his own safety.

Knew there was a lot of aggro when he left Cambridge. Seems to be doing a great job here.

He is very good at certain things but keep him away from the finances.

Simon yes i am a wum, but if you want to talk football happy to do so.
One or two more Bolton fans here now he will move on to those.............hopefully we can have some banter without it getting out of control.............Think the Doncaster and Gillingham posters here will try and wind me up.....we will see
There are two decent posters on the league 2 forum who support Bolton and all the rest have a remarkably poor grasp of grammar and a similar style to you. Either Bolton lacks quality educational facilities or they are all you.

I pity you League 1. Not only do you have to put up with this knob on your forum next season but you will most likely have to cope with the horde of knuckle dragging primates that support his club turning up in your town.

This is what I can’t grasp and gave up on here because of it.

Why not just ignore each other. Instead you both make ridiculous comments as if there’s a buzz over winding each other up and everyone else has to scroll through it.

Block each other, but you both enjoy it too much? It’s painful. I’m only on here because I like hearing from other clubs fans about their clubs, instead a fellow Bolton fan ends up in some childish argument and ends any actual decent conversation.

Please would you give it a rest? The div 2 forum is practically unreadable at times, and you've already started here. For God's sake, one of you isn't even in this division yet. I'm sure I speak for many people on here when I say please just fuck off, both of you.
Never ever spoke to you..................
