should we get into the s/west div,what kind of followings can we expect to see,only a couple have managed over 10/20 in the mid league,how much better are the grounds compared to step 5.

they won't be as good as Edgar Street. some are step 5 level the likes of the promoted sides from last season e.g Slimbridge most are ok I've done most in our leauge now there a few which are a bit of a dive Mangotsfield,Bridgwater some nice one too like ours and Taunton

Won again yesterday, so now 10 points clear of Alvechurch, but they do have 2 games in hand. Their game against Khalsa was postponed yesterday, but hopefully our game on tuesday against Khalsa will be on, as we do not have anywhere to fit in another game. Tues, Thurs(cup), Sat, mon, thurs(cup), Sat. really busy end of the season. The quadruple is still very much on, we should now win the league from this position. We should have far too much for Swifts over two legs in the midland cup. so, could be champions and in 3 finals(including the Herefordshire cup) come the end of the season. Crazy stuff.

I see Alvechurch's game was postponed because their opposition couldn't raise a team. Surely they should be awarded a walkover, they've already got a ridiculous number of games to fit in.

Yeah it just probably hasn't been formally done by the league committee yet, unless the other club have a decent excuse it'll be a walkover

Same thing happened not so long ago, same day we played Alvechurch. Highgate couldn't get a team together for their game at Stourport, which the game was rearranged.

Scored 15 and Conceded 1 against my home town team (Heanor) this season. Thrashed!

Conceded 2, won 7-2 in the away fixture. Started the 27 game winning streak.

Congratulations Hereford, very much deserved but you gotta feel for Alvechurch seems to have been out of their hands recently with a load of postponements. Any other season and they'd have probably walked it.

In the Hellenic League they just re-arrange the fixture for the next available date. Tinpot.

The league is a bit of a mess with postponements and rearrangements. It was looking like they would have to play saturday monday tuesday wednesday thursday saturday!! Which is just ridiculous! They've moved 2 of the game to after the scheduled finish date of the league now though.

Exactly the same thing happened to us with one of our promotion rivals in our first season at step 6 level. Oadby had a bunch of games in hand and were allowed to play them after the finish date of the season. Fortunately we won on the last day and sealed promotion ourselves, meaning the outcomes of those games in hand wasn't an issue, but it felt very unfair. I guess if I was an Oadby fan I'd have seen it differently though.

After winning the league, last Monday we won the Herefordshire challenge county cup and tonight we've won the Midland league cup. Just the FA Vase to win, to win the Quadruple.
