My mate GTFCfish has suggested I come and introduce myself, get my feet under the table etc ready for next season. He's a man of integrity and I know he means it when he says you're an OK bunch and you'll totally get my soffistikated sense of humour.

So.........wass happening dudes.......:woot:

You'll get on well with Masi51 and that Exeter fan everyone has on ignore.....

From memory you said much the same back in 2017 so none of us will hold our breath that phoenix club FC Halifax Town [established 13 years ago in 2008] will be playing in the EFL in the near future.

We'd all much prefer more established clubs in our competition such as Notts County [est 1862], or Stockport [est 1883], or Wrexham [est 1864], or Torquay [est 1899], or Hartlepool United [est 1908].
Even Sutton United [est 1898] has more history than FC Halifax and deserve their chance in the EFL before a newcomer such as your club.

Do your due time in the National League and come back in 10 years.

I’d like Halifax to be back in the FL, but doubt it will happen this season.

Hey FGR, NOBODY thinks you're a Football League club, NOBODY thinks you earned a place there, NOBODY thinks you're worthy of it, NOBODY respects you. This will NEVER change. A dog may sleep in a stable, that doesn't make it race horse. Enjoy your "success", modest as it is (a pretty damp bang for all the bucks poured in, truth be told) while the money lasts. :£ :£ :£ :fl:

I thought Halifax was a place in Canada and a building society?

You ain't wrong, but both were named after our fantastic town or some bigwig who took his title from it. There's also a few places in the USA. The building society got a bit too grand for itself and is now just about another bank. The Shaymen are by far the longest standing local institution for which we are known far and wide. :ds:

Yep, you've not changed in all those years since seemingly forever.
But just to put you right, Forest Green Rovers FC were founded 1889 which I calculate is 119 years before FC Halifax was established.
FGR are also in 4th season in EFL, an achievement that Halifax have yet to experience.
Therefore on both points FGR are established winners over Halifax.

And looking at tables, FGR are 3rd in EFL2 with 61 pts from 34 games or 1.79 pts per match while Halifax languish at 6th in National League with 43 pts from 27 games or 1.59 per match.

Beating your team hands down.

Halifax, where the largest non nuclear explosion in history occurred.

A place we stole three players from when in the conference.

The fans are the same, and the ground is the same, so for me its the same club at heart. It would be good to see them back.
Same club in every respect- we are a reformed club, not a new one. This was confirmed at the time, by the FA. The Mickey Mousers know it too but the pretence otherwise is all they have to cling on to. :ds:

Funny how the real ex league clubs fans don’t let you into their ‘brotherhood’ despite your desperate attempts to join in.

FC Halifax cannot be ‘back in the FL’, they’ve never been there before.
Of course they have. Its basically the same club with a twist to the original name. Very similar to you being Stroud for a while.

We didn’t reform having ripped off creditors and start again 3 leagues lower. We just changed our name and then changed it back, the company remained the same entity and no local businesses or suppliers were left out of pocket.

It’s like saying AFC Wimbledon are an ex-Premier League club.

It's not THEIR brotherhood dude. I am the founder and sole administrator and authority as to who is in it, and who is not. We are IN it. :bdick:

Interesting that your club’s official website only includes club stats/honours records that relate to FC Halifax? Seems the club accepts it’s a new entity.

Looks like the only dissenters here are the 2 tin pot Mickey Mousers, the REAL club fans recognise us as one of their own.

Unlucky lads. :fl::fl::fl::£:£:£

My, this really means a lot to you doesnt it. :fl: We did all of this last time Chris and you ended up looking a bit silly. Sure, the chairman has his own reasons for playing along with that line, lest someone decides to sue for money lost to the original holding company, which went bust, but the FA is the authority on this topic. You already KNOW what their ruling was. I'm done with this now, your opinion is worthless alongside the judgment of our Football League peers. :ds:
