Every thread on this forum seems to degenerate into tedious sniping between Preston and Blackpool. Not looking forward to being in the same division as you two next season if this is what we've got to look forward to!

Promotion or no promotion, i will be in the League One forum every week taking the piss out of Kurt and Blackpool.

Yeah, extremely dull bickering. At least the League 1 forum can deal with it next season.

Harris speaks. A trained monkey would have been an improvement on Holloway's media appearances, but all the same it's nice to see an intelligent and dignified man back in the hotseat again. We'll see if he's truly ready over the coming months, but he certainly comes across well (and always has tbf).

I'm going to create a thread in this forum reminiscing on Blackpool's final ever Championship season in August.

Will that thread be entitled "Holloway sacked"?

I just want to make sure that I recognise which is the official Blackpool v Preston thread in case I get confused with any of the 400 other threads that contain interesting Blackpool v Preston stuff.

It's going to titled.

'Has anyone else noticed that HertsWolf tries way too hard to get 'likes' off people on the internet?'

Bit of a long one.

Bit rich that, coming from you. :)

(Oh and isn't it perhaps an admission that giving it a rest might be the more popular option?)

yep, 2 months too late at least.

I always DIS-liked Holloway, even when he was at Blackpool, he IS a bitter old gashead prick now. Hope he never gets another job in football.
Edited to save me writing Tom.

If you think that's bad, you should see some of the squabbles between City and Swindon fans..

To be fair, I have. I'm often lurking in the League 1 forum but at least it stemmed from a promotion race.

The extent of the Preston/Blackpool debate is

"Your away average is shit"
" Yeah, but yours is worse"

Or

"Deepdale is a shithole"
"Behave, it's much better than Bloomfield Road!"

Tis' true - It has died down dramatically since we pulled away from the chasing pack (not having a dig)

Must be shit though, no proper rivalry, no big games to look forward to, no one giving a shit about you, trying to manufacture derbies with other clubs like Palace and Millwall.. Makes me glad that i'm from a county full of old school, similar-sized clubs with decades of derby tradition and rivalry.

Not really. You can put your rod away now though and maybe the thread can get back to what it's actually about.

Yeah, I think we were talking about Holloway being a gobshite, scummer twat. Some guy took offence and derailed the thread, selfish.

A dignified man for dignified supporters. :)

Holloway is a good manager who took the wrong job at the wrong time.
He was on a hiding to nothing at Millwall. He'll bounce back.

He took over a side that had half decent players with a good chairman who backs his managers, halfway through a Championship season and had the whole summer to prepare for the following one. He fucked it up, quite frankly.
