Couple of quid on Desert Haze this afternoon and I might have an accumulator tomorrow, otherwise not too interested in Newmarket.

Having said that, really interested to see Lady Aurelia. Tore the place apart at Ascot, hope she can do the same again tomorrow.

I like Promising Run in the first
Beautiful Morning in the 2nd
and Nathra in the 3.40.

That's all from Newmarket for me today. 4/9 on Fair Eva is ridiculous

Really enjoyed Newmarket yesterday, lovely course.

3 winners from the first 4 races set me up well but had a poor 2nd half of the meet (not helped by non runners making some of the races a little farcical) before finishing with a nice forecast in the last race

Owner's say she burst a blood vessel, that's why she tailed off.

Well that was a disaster. Honestly thought that this horse would there or thereabouts........at the front of the field & NOT in the last three. Probably just as well I keep my punting mainly to the football.

Pleased with my work today. Wins with Laganore 6/1, Aclaim 10/1 (daft price), Mrs Danvers 9/4 and Miss Caledonia place money at 8/1.

Just wish I had an acca on

Oh and I got 1st and 3rd in the Arc :bye: (7/1, 22/1) in a vein of form at the moment... not that it'll last

Anyone any thoughts on the Cesarewitch tomorrow? Traditionally wide open race won by long odds that get their way on the day. Looking at 3 at the moment, don't know whether to back them all though

Awful news about Freddie Tylicki, paralysed from the waist down following Monday's horrendous fall at Kempton.

Absolutely devastated for the guy. I'll always remember his win on Semayyal. Horrific news

Shocking news, you never really expect bad falls and injuries in flat racing.

Anyone got anything in the Breeders Cup later on? Found £25 in an account I didn't know I had so I've stuck a fiver on Ambitious Brew at 9:15pm this evening.

Also had a Shantou Village/Zarkanda double this afternoon - the former fell one out and the latter was beaten by Un Tempts Pour Tout at Aintree.

That shows my disinterest in the horses at the minute...I didn't even know this was on. If I had I would, if the price was half decent, had a punt on California Chrome in the Classic...glad I didn't as the great horse came 2nd.

Vautour has had to be put down. Absolutely gutted, was a gold cup horse in the making.

Truly gutted.

Absolutely monster of a horse. Feel like I did when Best Mate died. Sad, sad week for the world of racing.

Really awful news, wasn't even a training accident, he was just out in the paddock. Bad day for Mullins as he's also lost Avant Tout today who was one of the favourites for the Hennessy later this month.

Bad year for Mullins after he lost 60 horses from Gigginstown after he put up his fees for the first time in years, a couple of months ago. Not getting any luck at all at the moment.

Sprinter Sacre has been retired after picking up a leg injury during the week. One of the greatest horses there has been, at least he goes out at the top.

Sprinter's stable mate Simonsig falls in the race sprinter won last year, breaks a leg and is put down. Devastating day for their trainer Nicky Henderson.

I'd have backed it if I had read the friggin' thread....Bollox! PM next time Dan......
That's 3 times I've put her up on here - 3 times she's won.

I have another one tomorrow Inishowen Legend trap 5 20.50 (I think). Not a certainty but should run well.
