Grew up 200 miles from Liverpool with no affiliation to the city. I support them because my Irish cousins said they'd beat the shit out of me if I supported local club Arsenal when I was 6.

HATE ME PROPER FOOTBALL FANS.
Who did those girls support out of interest?

Grew up 2.4 miles from the Abbey, now live 4.2 miles away. I would love to live closer but house prices in Cambridge are just insane.

Currently 5.2 miles from Blundell Park. Used to be 3.7 at my old house.

At Uni I was 0.5 miles from the Stadium of Light which was ideal.

Recently moved again for work so it is now 31.2 miles. Closer to Hull's KCOM Stadium now (10.9 miles)

How the hell is that ideal when you aren't a black cat?? Moron

Thanks for your ‘input’ but I was a season ticket holder for two seasons and worked there for a season too. It was ideal for that reason plus I’m allowed to support the team in my University city... moron.

There's nothing wrong with having an affinity to more than one club!

...

I grew up about 10 miles from the Kenny and live about 8 miles away now. Despite my parents & brother all being Villa fans I never really took to them so went my own way and started to support my local club when I was a nipper.

About 10 miles from Ewood, a mile from Bamber Bridge and about 4 from Chorley. All 3 could be going up this season :brill:

This is from the other season. It shows the clubs two most popular regions to draw support from. We draw 65% of our support from the West Midlands, and the South West. The other 35% comes from wherever else. Probably gives you a rough idea.

It surprises me that Man City isn't much 'lower' these days. But also that Spurs aren't much 'higher'.
Would be intriguing to see the table for the Championship. I'd guess that Leeds would be at the bottom of the table, then probably Fulham, the two Sheffield clubs, Forest, Derby and us. Maybe QPR too.

You really are a deeply unpleasant person. It's not banter; it's gratuitously offensive.
I take offence to you calling me unpleasant. In fact I'm also offended by anyone who takes offence to me asking "how can you support more than one club "?

Don't see many city fans about really, but that will change, and soon they will have fans all over the country. I think Spurs have a pretty widespread fanbase.
