It says a mile but I think that is straight line measure. Walking or by car it is a mile and half.

4.3miles.

Hibs, Hearts, St Mirren, Motherwell, C****C and Rangers are all closer to me than pissing Plymouth. It's about time they joined the French leagues!

5.7 miles to GP, closest team followed by Hull and then Doncaster.

Grimsby would be there too but it doesn't count them as they're non league (lol)

Ah I am shortest for now at 0 4 miles. Its about 6 mins walk at most if you use the back alleys.

Be good I hope for December when freezing to go 5 mins to kick off, the grab at hot drink at home at half time

5750 miles or thereabouts. Same problem as Kiwi. Expensive day out.

The Abbey is a 6 mile drive/cycle.

Holker Street is around 270 miles by car and 20 years back in time.

82.7 according to that site.

97.4 according to the trip recorder in my car. I REALLY should know better than to do that 20-25 times a season by now.

I know how you feel, 2 hrs there, 2 hrs at the ground and then 2 hrs back. Yet every Saturday I set off without even thinking about it. Seven of the away games are quicker for me to get to this season.

If Barrow is 20 years back in time, Grimsby is at least 50 :gr:
Lot of similarities but Barrow now has 21st Century submarines, gas fields and wind farms providing jobs - family members abandoning the dole and jobs with ASDA and Premier Inn to start work in the shipyard this year.

Cleethorpes seems to put a lot more effort into fish and cheap booze.

Exactly 2 miles.

Typical regular conversation with a local Prem league follower type person

Them - "Why do you support the bloody Stags?"

Me - "Because after a game I can have a pint, a moan for half an hour, walk it back home, make a brew and take a piss, before you've even got out of the traffic away from your favourite teams ground and made it on to the Mancunian Way."
