He had a “promoted” flag around his back at Wembley and tried to take the trophy off Norwood. His 0 goals in 10 games that had us sitting 19th in the league nearly sabotaged the same squad that is now 6th in league two.

To be fair to Alabi, he has played his part this season.

His 2 goals have earned us 4 points and he has a few assists to his name as well, plus a number of good cameos from the bench (as well as some shite ones).

I do not disagree that he isn't the best player for various reasons, but he has played his part in us winning the league and deserves his medal this season at least.

However, I will be amazed if we don't sell him in the summer - He's nowhere near league standard.

There might be something in this. Chester accepted a bid from us for Alabi on January 2017 deadline day. He turned up at THL to sign, decided he didn't like the place, and went back to Chester. We let two forwards go that day as we thought the Alabi deal was done and dusted. We've been in free fall ever since.

Had him on loan last season at Dover didn't last long until he was dropped, think he tried to sign for Ebbsfleet without telling Tranmere, mind the offer he got was outrageous

We are having a laugh at his expense which is purely my fault and I accept that. But to redress the balance I spoke to him a few times last season as he warmed up and streched and he seems a genuinely nice chap. .... bit shy actually

I’d imagine he’ll sign for and thus join Dagenham’s promotion in March 2019/20
