Fair play City, wish I went now!
Excellent first half boys.
Out of interest, I've just spoken to my mate who's a Town fan and he said LF is running the show. Funny how different people see things we take for granted. Personally, Luke hasn't reached the heights of last season IMHO but it's still great to hear from an opposition supporter.

1-2. 30 yard belter.

Typical of our season if we chuck this away.

Turned the radio off, can't stomach it.

'Bryan back in too and a 1-2 away win.'

Job done.

Cotts out still?

A win doesn't change my opinion mucker just as a defeat doesn't. I DO feel he is struggling at this level but I am very happy for him to prove me wrong, more often preferably!

Huge result!

Only listened on the radio, but the first half sounded superb. Plenty of chances, and some good set-piece routines for both goals.

Not expecting much Tuesday, but Saturday is another biggie.

Big respect to Cotterill and the lads for that one, showed tremendous character from last week which was one of the most inept performances I've seen under SC.

Other results went pretty much perfectly as well, would've been nice for Reading to get an equaliser maybe but other than that, great day all round!

Well that came out of knowhere. Massive result, need to follow it up though. One win every few games isn't good enough. Nice easy one Tuesday!

Well happy with that. Big 3 points going into a couple of tough games next week. Charlton on Boxing Day setting itself up to be a very big game!

The further away from the bottom we are come January, I would guess it would make the recruitment slightly easier. I just hope we have certain players lined up. It seems Kodjia is happier alongside a 'bigger' player and Wilbs can't go on forever. I wouldn't mind seeing City go for Dexter Blackstock at Forest who doesn't seem to get much game time and is from Oxford originally. He has always impressed me and can play the 'Wilbraham' role.
Any other sugestions as to who we could be after?

Kermogant was supposed to be in the pipeline over the summer until it broke down at the last minute, if we could get him in Jan that would be a fantastic signing.

Big man and a defensive midfielder priorities for me, and hopefully getting Bennett on a permanent deal. Then supplementing that with a keeper, creative midfielder and maybe a left-sided player, in an ideal world.

Agree about Kermogant CH.
Could Nahki Wells play the Wilbs role as he's not small? If he could, him and Kodjia up top with Wilbs and AK as backup would be pretty damn good. Wells is another player I've always liked TBH. EDIT: Wiki says he's only 5'7, thought he was bigger than that TBH.
I wonder if Wells would be available?

I'd always had him down as a pacey, on-the-shoulder type striker. Would've liked him when he was at Bradford, reading Hudders' fans comments though they seem to be short on numbers up top so I doubt they'd let him go.

But then I was surprised when they shipped Vaughan out on loan. Perhaps he'd be someone worth enquiring about if Birmingham don't fancy him back?

Don't need other Championship sides rejects- that is what went wrong last time.

Kermogant would be a decent stop gap or whoever was Kodjias partner last year.

So what do we need?
Competion for Frankie
Additional 'bigger' striker to replace Wilbs.
Additional CM with a defensive bias
Keep Baker / Moore and Bennett for the season.

Would that be enough? Anything wrong with that list/ anything else we need in January? Any names?

Yeah, I'd say that's the minimum. Baker's already here for the season thankfully!

Sam Morsy at Chesterfield's one I like. Surprised they kept him after their firesale over the summer, he was their best player last season. Maybe not a tough tackler as such, more of a Pack type, but he's definitely one I wouldn't mind in a City shirt

Oh. We were crap.

Totally deserved away win. Surprised how solid you were defensively, only beaten by a speculative 30 yarder. Different game if we score the pen but no complaints, big reality check.
