Absolute buzzing with 6 points from Brighton and Leeds, we're back to our form at the beginning of the season and we look a class above.

Thought Leeds started well today but the injury to Palmer meaning Brown coming on changed the game. They couldn't handle him. The lads a class act.

Second half I expected Leeds to come out at us but I was wrong. They couldn't get out their own half bar a couple of corners and a counter attack they should of done better for.

Monks made himself look a right fool slating Wagner for celebrating with his team by going out and walking into him to kick something off. He hasn't taken either defeats against us well at all and it's shown in the post match conferences.

Can see why Leeds are up there, can play some decent stuff and are a very tall team.

As for the Turkey flag, he was immediately reported by Town fans then removed and arrested. Will no doubt get a lifetime ban.

we usually play 3 times better, we've frozen in 2 derbies recently, we aren't approaching them right

that said it was always gonna be a bonus point away to you, so i'm not that bothered, gutting to lose to the goal we did though but no complaints

On what grounds was he arrested? Incitement maybe?

Whilst it's a completely twattish thing to do, and it still amazes me how big a c*** football fans can show themselves to be, I can't agree bringing a flag into a stadium should result in a lifetime ban.

I don't think he was nicked, police on social media said he was just ejected and the flag confiscated. Will probably get a knock on the door during the week and a lifetime ban from the club. I don't think he'll face criminal charges. Personally I'd have thrown him in the away end.

Checking in on this thread to see what happened between Monk and Wagner but found myself more intrigued by the Turkey flag.
Why would that be an issue? I see lots of national flags at stadium's. Genuinely intrigued why the Turkish flag is causing a flap?!

Two Leeds fans were stabbed and killed by Galatasaray fans in Istanbul the night before a Uefa Cup semi final game between the two teams back in 2000.

Ahh I see! That definitely is out of order then. Thanks for the explanation.

Knew that injury to Palmer was going to end up being bad news for us. Bridcutt and Vieira had control until then.
Palmer is just as good a player as Brown. We had started a little slowly but Palmer was just getting in to his stride before he got injured. Look at the way he eased past your midfield and defence to put Quaner through, which Green did well to keep out.

Well I'd rather he'd have stayed on tbh.
